“My partner and I stayed with our 2 dogs for 2 nights. On arrival we had a very warm welcome. Our dogs had 2 lovely big beds in the room they had treats and bowls in the room. There is a secure enclosure there so the dogs were safe off the lead. Breakfast was amazing. Between 1000am and 3pm they have an amazing tea room open, which was always busy. Nothing was too much trouble for owners and would definitely recommend and will be returning.”

“Spent Christmas eve Christmas day and boxing day in Rose cottage Lordington park. It could not of been better. The cottage itself was lovely and spacious and set in fields with a livery behind it. Every day we used komoot to find a walk in about the 10 mile range. The grounfs were very quiet and it was excellent for the dog. We will certainly be going back there again soon.”

“We recently stayed for 2 nights with our springer spaniel. The location of the hotel is perfect to head to the beaches and access to Chichester which is very dog friendly. We had a lovely break, the room was really spacious with plenty of room to have the dog in the room with double doors out to the garden for easy access. The breaskfast was a good portion, locally sourced and very tasty. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Would defintly stay again.”

“Easy check in, beautiful room and amazing bathroom! Dog friendly and the lounge area was a lovely way to spend new years eve with other guests and their dogs. Breakfast was delicious.”

It would be nice if the breakfast could have been included in the price as it was quite expensive for one night in a hotel on room only basis, and if there was the option of eating in the room (because I was travelling solo with my dog so couldn't go into the dining room with her)

“The room was comfortable, with direct access to the garden which was handy. Dog bed and bowl were provided and my dog ws calm and relaxed so must have liked it. I only booked one night so didn't get much chance to explore the countryside around the hotel but it looked beautiful. I arrived a bit late and there were no staff there but they sent clear instructions on how to get in which was fine but it felt a bit strange arriving alone to a very quiet old house! But all in all, a good place to stay.”

“Really welcoming place. We stayed in a cottage which was ideal for us. No dog bits provided, which surprised me for such a dog friendly place, ie no dog bowls or anything like that. But grounds and staff were very welcoming to our dog.”
