“We had a wonderful family break at Wotton House this weekend. The staff were so friendly and warm to both my husband and me, as well as our doggo Freddie. The hotel itself was stunning both inside and out and Freddie loved exploring the grounds. Breakfast had an extensive selection and it was all yummy. Freddie would especially recommend the sausages !! All in all we had a wonderful first stay and can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for giving us the relaxing break that we needed”

“Beautiful hotel in wonderful grounds, reasonably priced our only dissapointment was the choice of breakfast, fine if you like full english but very limited on other healthy choices, also as we had to eat in the bar area with our pooch which we understand however we felt a little stranded service wise and had to ask for a table to be cleaned and cutlery apart from this a great stay.”

“Wotton House is a beautiful hotel set in gorgeous surroundings. The staff are excellent and loved fussing over our golden retriever Barney. The breakfast was a buffet and had everything you could ask for and the food in the evening was great.”

“If you've seen and loved The Holiday, it was shot around here. Lots of great places to explore with your doggie. Hotel is super friendly for pooches.”

“Impressive from the outside. Needs a bit of TLC on the inside. Lovely grounds to walk your dogs and off lead, although be careful of deep water running through the edge of the estate. Food good, although not everything on the menu was available, but substituted at the same price. Breakfast is self service, slightly cool and no orange juice on second day! Rooms slightly small, very hot! First night one of our dogs found it very warm. You do have a Dyson fan, but the windows do not open correctly, so we had to jam ours open the second night to get some air! We had contacted reception to get maintenance to do a couple of bits but unfortunately it didn’t happen so we had to improvise! Dogs loved it and we had a relaxing time, I would not suggest taking a dog there in the summer as rooms too hot . We were told that due to the age of the building the bricks were so large to keep the heat in, even staff find it hot in the summer. Unfortunately you can’t leave your dog in the room so if you want to go to the to the spa you have to take it in turns! As you can’t leave dogs in the car either due to heat or the in ability to lock your vehicle. Would not rush back but it was enjoyable and you do have your dogs with you . Staff friendly.”

“Lovely hotel with good facilities, clean and tidy room with welcome gifts for our dog. Local pub a short 10minute walk was perfect for dinner with the dog and good quality food. Breakfast in the bar was perfect for the dog. Would recommend and hope to return soon.”

“Average temp of 28.5degrees in the room so we couldn’t sleep. Not great with a 1.5year old. Otherwise the estate was great, breakfast buffet was packed as there were several weddings taking place over the course of the weekend. Spa was great and as advertised”
