“We had a lovely time at the Montegu. The staff in the hotel and Montys were so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Fluer our German Shepherd was very spoilt with sausages for breakfast and biscuits in Montys. Will certainly be returning.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Good walk from the hotel to Buckler’s Hard by the River Beaulieu. Make use of the relaxed comfortable public spaces.

“From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel is very relaxed the gardens are well maintained and the public areas are dog friendly and comfortable. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We ate both nights in Monty's as this is where they allow dogs. The staff in Monty's were very attentive without being overbearing. They produced dog biscuits for our dog without being asked, which was a nice touch. Continental Breakfast is included in the petspyjamas package but this was to a good standard, again our dog was given a breakfast sausage. This hotel is genuinely dog friendly and well behaved dogs are greeted as warmly as their owners.”

“We had a fabulous stay at the Montagu Arms in one of the Courtyard Retreats. The staff were very friendly, the food was superb, the bed so so comfortable, wonderful fluffy towels and bath robes. This is a truly dog friendly place where your dog is made to feel very special - her own welcome pack, a sausage at breakfast and lots of attention. Lily our black Labrador loved it.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here as did our dog, Charlie. The staff are all very caring and we had a great room in the courtyard. The restaurant next door, Monty's, is lso top class.”

“Everything was perfect, our dog Chester was treated like a prince, we were blown away by the attentive staff, the decor, the coctails, the quality of the room (Hayloft Barn was stunning). This was a special anniversary and we were treated so wonderfully. Little touches like remembering our first names, the extras for the dog - hamper of treats, a selection of dinner options from a dog food menu (?11?) Nothing was too much trouble. We ate in Monty's pub, lovely menu, our dog was welcome there too (The Terrace restaurant was dog free which I totally understood). Both Petspyjamas and the hotel itself were excellent from start to finish, highly recommend both and will be using Petspyjamas again in future!”

“I booked the snug room for myself and my dog for a night in Beaulieu. A few days before I arrived I was offered a room upgrade to one of the retreat rooms which I snapped up, it was worth it. The retreat room was very spacious and gave my dog extra room to move around during the evening time. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I will certainly be going back again.”

“Just one night with our young cocker spaniel, staying in the Hayloft. A really welcoming and relaxing stay with excellent local walks. Room was lovely - a real experience for our pup who isn't allowed upstairs at home! Welcome hamper and bed for Branna was much appreciated - especially the toy spider. She wolfed down her 'À la Bark' chicken dinner too. All the staff we experienced were professional and super friendly. Special mention to manager at Montys who went above and beyond. One very small quibble re hayloft bathroom which was very well equipped but didn't have any low lighting for night-time visits so awakened by bright light at 3am! Thanks for a lovely stay. In the immortal words of Swartz- I'll be back!”
