Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Very disappointed as was really looking forward to this break with our dog . Would not return.

“A bit misleading where it says your dog will enjoy walks on the 500 acres of parkland on the estate - all land fenced off and only able to walk dog around the house and gardens ( then only on a lead) . Room and bathroom very tired and was cold , had to ask for heaters, no shaving mirror ( good thing I took my makeup mirror ) . Food was really good as were most of the staff .”

“The hotel is a magnificent building set in glorious surroundings. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well appointed but it was situated at the top of the hotel and as a a consequence not great for servicing the dog's needs. It was a deluxe room ( which is their entry level grade ) but I was informed that there are no ground floor rooms. The available lift is not easily accessible and antiquated, I think it is/was a service lift. The food was good but expensive, but that's just how it is these days. I have no complaints and much was good and had the weather been better we could have enjoyed the outside space much more.”

“The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Service was excellent and everyone was very dog friendly. Our dinner and breakfast in the drawing room were excellent. Great vegan options.”

“Every member of staff is exceptionally good. The food was Very good and very well presented, accompanied by an extremely good wine lists. Our room was very spacious. The only difficult issue is the number of steps and stairs in the hotel. This makes it difficult for anyone with mobility issues and the lift is very small. The spa treatments are wonderful but once again the stairs can be an issue. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. AND our dog was made to feel very welcome too. There was a restaurant for people wishing to bring their dogs with them,when they were eating ,which was excellent.”

“We booked 2 nights at Stapleford Park for my husbands 50th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is beautiful, the staff attentive, welcoming and friendly. The food and wine list s superb and high level of treatments and activities available. We will definitely visit again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Somewhere that truly gives the warmest of welcomes,nothing is too much trouble and our dog was thoroughly spoilt, which made us happy.

“Amazing from the time we arrived to departure .The staff were truly fabulous so friendly and helpful.can’t fault it at all .”
