“Tucked away at the end of a lane the hotel is set in a peaceful location with far reaching coastal views. Lovely welcome pack in the room for your pooch, for the humans the rooms are large & spacious with everything you'll need for your stay. The outdoor dog wash station with hot water and clean towels is one of the best we've seen, perfect for washing down after exploring the coastal path. Towels for dirty paws and biscuits can also be found just inside the entrance. For those dining with their pets food is served in the lounge, suited us as it was much quieter than the restaurant, your pooch can also enjoy a sausage with their breakfast.”

“Lovely building & friendly staff. Would’ve been better if there was a bar & draught beers so Dad could enjoy himself more, particularly as the nearest pub was quite far away & not ideal after a day out & about. Would’ve been nice if part of the restaurant was dog friendly. Having to sit on our own in a lounge meant we weren’t made aware of the buffet breakfast area until day 2 & we didn’t know about the pizza option until the last day after we’d already ordered food. We were a little disappointed overall as it was not quite what we wanted. We were not prepared to leave the dogs in our room whilst we ate so I think they could meal some improvements to make it more dog friendly.”

“Such a beautiful property in a lovely location and very very dog friendly. We had a pleasant stay mid-week which was quiet. I didn’t realise the hotel was a family hotel so quite relieved that not many children were there during our stay. Also, lovely, friendly staff but they seemed a bit fraught at times due the restaurant being busy. The food was lovely but took a while. Would be nice if they would allow dogs in an area of the dining room as table space in the lounges was limited. All in all a very pleasant stay.”

“The staff universally love dogs (and people!). We were made so welcome and our dog knows there are always treats on hand at reception.”

“The hotel was lovely. The staff were very welcoming , friendly and efficient. The food was very good. Hamish, our terrier really enjoyed his dog beer from the doggy menu. We will visit again and take the grandchildren .”
