“The journey down single track roads to reach this magnificent house with spectacular views over Arran was so worth it. Whether sitting out on the deck with a wee drink watching the sun go down or through the full length windows if overcast was so relaxing. We have 2 cockapoo’s and having a secure spacious garden was a real bonus and they loved it. The house was very well equipped, did expect to have a welcome pack / bottle of wine maybe and few kitchen basics like washing up liquid / kitchen roll and even a few spare loo rolls so might be worth taking them with you. A tumble drier would have been handy too - drying dog towels in wet weather is tricky. Downstairs was well laid out and a great living space - the Bose sound system and disco lights were brilliant fun as was the games room - darts and pool always a laugh - nice touch. Upstairs master bedroom was quirky but lacked a dressing table which made getting ready awkward and the squeaky bed frame annoying but the shower rooms were beautiful. The owners have responded to feedback and have since replaced the bed and put in a dressing table - so if we had been staying in it now would have given it 5 stars instead of 4. In conclusion- a beautiful dog friendly house in a fabulous location - we loved it!”
