In the bedroom we found the pillows too soft, the mattress too hard and the duvet too noisy.

We have just enjoyed a lovely two-night break at Kesgrave Hall Hotel. Our ground floor room was large, comfortable and well decorated, and there were spacious grounds for our dog to get some exercise. We were able to eat meals in the bar area with our dog and the food was excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. We felt ourselves lucky that this hotel was both dog-friendly and near where we needed to be on the Friday. We would certainly book in again.

We were made very welcome by reception. Room comfortable.. no restrictions on the dog ,even wecolmed in part of the restaurant and given a sausage for breakfast. The grounds were large, grass and woodland approximate 38 acres. ideal for walking. Food was expensive but the meals were large and worth it. They were well presented and a large choice, the only thing was you had to buy vegetables separatelly. Would go again.

Kesgrave Hall Hotel is a fanastic place for stay with a dog. We got a quiet room with access to grounds and woodland. Our dog, August loved it. We loved the food and service. The location of the hotel is great for daily outings especially a visit to Sutton Hoo. A fabolous stay for the winter months. Highly recommend.

Wonderful and peaceful stay at Kesgrave hall. Monty enjoyed it and the lovely walks surrounding the grounds. Room was excellent and food good too. Staff very good and we’re welcoming of Monty. He enjoyed a sausage each morning for breakfast aswell. Will definitely return

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Many thanks to the service staff who cleaned the room every day - it’s hard to keep a flat coat AND his owner completely mud free!
Nice room and lovely grounds for Raffi the flat coated retriever to explore. Staff helped us get the crate to the room and a few were dog-friendly - one manager in particular - but there were no dog ‘extras’ and, surprisingly, no water bowls around, despite the hot weather - we ended up relying on trips back to the room to our own travel bowl. Lovely food but seemed understaffed and service was slow at times. I would say more a hotel that TAKES dogs, rather than a dog-friendly hotel.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Train waiting staff and sort out doggy welcome pack if you are going to continue to advertise thi
Firstly, front of house. I didn’t catch the chaps name, but what a lovely welcome. Kind, courteous and professional. Excellent start. Restaurant/bar staff need training. They do not seem to understand what service means. Very odd, but I can only assume they have received the correct training g and this lets the whole milsoms experience down. Room was lovely. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable we’ve slept, but that’s personal choice/preference. Mini bar with soft drink, milk etc. nice touch. No moisturizer. Found that odd & hadn’t packed any as that’s usually something that’s in the room. Enjoyed our stay, won’t rush back unless I read that the waiting staff have revived the training they need We did not get a doggy pack. I asked but was told they hadn’t received these from Petspajamas for over a year

We stayed 3 nights in a principle room, plenty of space to stretch out for our 2 year old golden retriever Paddy. He loved chasing squirrels and foxes in their 30+ acre grounds. Watch out for the silt pond though! Staff were brilliant with Paddy and made a real fuss of him and gave him a sausage at meal times which we had in the bar area. Great base to explore beaches, we loved it and hopefully will return!
