Little things like no salt and pepper on table, no one to ask for it, had to ask for coffee on 2 or 3 occasions, it was co

“The Hotel was perfectly situated with amazing views. Parking was available in the hotel car park directly opposite the main entrance. Food was fantastic together with the hotel facilities, our room had sea views which I would recommend, however, the staff did let the hotel down on a significant level. Our room deal included treats for our pet which we never received, our room deal also included a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. After enquiring about this on 3 seperate occasions (it was getting embarrassing by this point) we eventually received it late on our 2nd night of stay - so we brought home to enjoy another time. Really disappointing!.. We booked a table in the bar area for both nights of our stay for our evening meal, neither night was a table ever reserved for us. We had to sit elsewhere (once in the reception sitting area on our own) rather than at the table we requested. On another occasion, late afternoon we were left waiting over 20 minutes for a drinks order, and they ended up giving that round of drinks free of charge to us. We appreciated this but I'd rather have paid and not rushed our drinks. The hotel was very friendly, however, we do feel that the staff were very poor in being efficient, maybe understaffed at times but this did taint our visit somewhat.”
