“Very warm welcome for both humans and dogs. Lovely hotel with lots of character and great service - always with a smile. Great location for travellers, very comfortable and quiet bedroom.”

“Fourth visit and as good as ever. I stopped over night before a dog show at the showground. A lovely room, with dog bed, bowl and treats provided. I had an evening meal, which was truly delicious. As was breakfast, Hilfy enjoying her sausage!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The room let the trip down. Food and staff were really good.

“The staff were very friendly and the food really good. Unfortunately our room had a very unpleasant smell to it and the scatter cushions had a strong doggy smell and wre in need of a clean. The toilet seat was loose and the hairdryer faulty and the PAT test out of date. .”

“I stayed with my dog on the 2 day package deal. The single room was perfect for us, space enough for a large dog and a roomy, comfortable bed. I had a cream tea, which, I was thrilled to find, could be gluten free. Breakfasts were excellent and my girl enjoyed her sausages! The evening meals were very good too and chef was happy to tailor dishes to be gluten free for me. All staff are friendly and helpful. In particular, Jason, who made sure everything was perfect for us.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would just like to say that the Pyjamas rate was only just undercutting the hotel's price, so a bit disappointing.

“Just a one night stop over this time and just me and one dog. Lovely single room. Staff friendly and helpful. Delicious evening meal, specially prepared for me, to accomodate gluten free requirement. Full English breakfast was swiftly prepared as I needed to be away promptly for an early start at the showground. Will certainly be back!”

“We have been to several of the excellent Coaching Inns and The Swan certainly didn't disappoint! Lovely hotel, plenty of room to sit with your dogs on a rainy afternoon. The room was comfortable and amply big enough for two dogs. Excellent meals, fully catering for gluten free. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jason - deputy manager. We shall be back!”
