Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? In the itinerary PetsPyjamas had stated there were fridges in the rooms. This was not the case and it did not hamper an exceptional and enjoyable stay.
The staff were exceptional from checking in to departure. Every effort was made to make our Christmas break an enjoyable experience. They did not disappoint. Usually, Christmas is spent at home so we were not sure what to expect. The location of the Angel Inn is ideal just a short stroll to Lake Windermere. I would recommend the Angel Inn as a perfect break for humans and dogs alike.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The inn was in the centre of the town, which was extremely busy. There was only one grass area near the hotel that we take the dog to. Our dog is young and didn’t like the busy traffic, this inn would suit dogs abit older. Although there was beautiful walks within a short drive staying were we where wasn’t the best.
The inn itself was lovely, food was nice and staff were friendly.

We stayed with our dog across the road. We were in one of the first rooms as you enter, so right by the front door. Unfortunately, you could hear absolutely everything, which became quite distressing for our dog throughout the night. Not the hotels fault, but it was a shame that we stayed when some families did that weren't respectful of other guests and were extremely loud throughout the night. We could hear people talking in their room above ours too, and young kids running around quite late. The hotel and the staff were genuinely lovely, and the food was fab and it's in a great location, but due to the rooms we probably wouldn't come back as sleeping was a struggle. Our dog can sometimes be nervous so I'd recommend finding elsewhere to stay if yours has similar triats.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? See above. Would be obliged for Pets Pajamas' comments on our complaints
On arrival we found we had been bumped out of our ground floor room, booked for the dog, to what they referred to as "a complimentary upgrade' to their 'junior suite', which was 47 steps up, on the second floor. The only addition to the superior room we had booked was a cheerless sitting room with a settee and a tv on the wall. They explained that the couple who had booked it couldn't manage the stairs and so, without consultation, we were moved out for them. Next came the great news that, although claiming to be dog-friendly, we were not allowed to bring the dog even to the bar area for breakfast, which meant we had to eat separately the whole week! We should have been warned about this and this should be on the Pets Pajamas website. Staff were friendly and housekeeping was excellent, however. Wouldn't stay there again. Poor value for the high cost.

Very comfortable room. Our dog was made very welcome. She was able to join us for dinner but dogs are not allowed in the restaurant at breakfast. The menu at dinner was excellent. The only slight issue was the stairs into the annexe, where our room was, and then down to our room. Our dog is rather old and struggled a bit.
