“Super accommodation, good food (particularly breakfast) and lovely staff. My wife and I had originally booked a Shepherds Hut for the 2 of us and our greyhound, but unfortunately "doesn't do" stairs/steps and refused to budge. They immediately switched us to a ground-floor room and brought us coffee as we looking stressed; the rest of the service was also impeccable too. Very highly recommended.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Entrance is a bit cumbersome for people with mobility problems.

“The website does not show the correct pictures. The veranda is not soft seating, this is now a dining area of mixed seating, and the soft seating has been moved out in to the garden under an awning. Could do with some tlc. The breakfast does not have any cereals, and the evening meal is also very limited and expensive. The room was always very clean and tidy and Our "boys" enjoyed the beds left for them.”

“Just returned from 5 night stay in this beautiful part of the New Forest.we were blessed by beautiful weather in June 22; which allowed breakfast on the terrace surrounded by nature. Excellent breakfast choice and first class friendly service. This is the MOST dog friendly hotel we have experienced. All staff from management; waiting on and Chambermaids went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyed. great room with large comfortable bed; ground floor access to private enclosed patio, perfect for a dog and amazing wet room. Excellent choice of teas and coffee and mineral water provided and complimentary gin& tonic and home made shortbread on arrival. In summary, very impressed and would definitely revisit.”

“This hotel is amazing. The location is great for fabulous dog walks and the hotel is really warm and welcoming. We were greeted warmly on arrival and made to feel welcome and Ziggy was made a fuss of which he loved. We stayed in the shepherds hut which was perfect. My 11 year old son thought it was cool, Ziggy loved the outdoor area and my husband and I loved the design and the extra touches such as the fudge, fresh milk, gorgeous toiletries and nespresso machine. The bed was super comfy and spotlessly clean, shout out to the cleaning staff who do an amazing job. The food is delicious, fresh and every meal was really tasty. The restaurant is really relaxed and has a lively inviting atmosphere. The hotel is really great but the best part is the brilliant staff. Every single member of staff was truly lovely. You can not have a more welcoming, friendly and helpful,team. We can’t wait to return.”

“We stayed for one night, myself, husband, daughter and 2 fur babies. Smashing place, super comfortable, food was great and dogs were made very welcome. Fantastic walks on the doorstep. Would so happily stay again! Thank you :-)”
