“We stayed for two nights and everyone was friendly and efficient. Rooms are gorgeous, bathrooms modern and toiletries smell amazing! Dining with your dog couldn’t be better in pub, fantastic food especially with a great vegan / veggie selection. Breakfast also good catering again for my vegan / veggie diet unrivalled to other places. Thank you to all at this beautiful venue, we will be back very soon”

“We enjoyed our 1 night stay at the Castle. It’s an attractive place in a great location and Sue and her team could not have been more friendly and efficient. Minor negative is the room was quite small.”

“Our first Christmas away with our dog Suki was at the Castle Inn. All the staff were very welcoming and really looked after us. Suki was spoiled rotten by everyone and allowed to be with us all the time. The food was excellent and the service was brilliant, especially as it was over the Christmas holidays and very busy.”

“The Castle Inn is a Butcombe pub so the beer is excellent. Our cooky room was cosy, well equipped and even had a courtyard which the dog particularly appreciated. Bowls, towel, treats and toys were provided for our dog and we enjoyed complimentary prosecco and craft IPA. It was so nice to spend time in such a relaxed and caring environment. Great food too!”

“Excellent stay. Our first floor room was a nice size as was the bathroom. The entire hotel was very clean and newly decorated. The food was well cooked and the service was very pleasant and efficient. We'd suggest that you book in advance if you want Sunday lunch as it was extremely busy. The only downside was that the TV in our room didn't work from the time we arrived until we left 3 days later. We were offered a change of room but decided to say where we were after unpacking. It didn't spoil our stay in this very friendly, well run and ideally located inn. We will book again.”

“Stayed 2nd to 6th October 2021 Easy check in after parking in the private car park oposite.all the staff We’re very friendly and professional room and food lovely. Dogs made a fuss of easy walk to sea really enjoyed our 4 night stay perfect”
