Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Pub does have to keep some dog free rooms for those with allergies so make sure you tell them you are bringing your dog(s)
Super dog friendly pub, bowls & towel in the room and dog wash plus treats from the staff, 10/10 woofs from the dog. Great for humans too, room wasn’t huge but beautifully decorated, very comfy bed, good size bathroom. complimentary prosecco, zero beer and brownies were very much appreciated. Delicious evening meal accompanied by live music and a great atmosphere but the added bonus was the helpful and welcoming staff. Perfect location for walking to lulworth cove.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We can’t wait to return but perhaps not in the height of the holiday season ( but only bec we prefer to be in places when they are less crowded
We could not have been made to feel more welcome and they made a real fuss of Jenny too. On registering we were given all the information we needed to know and put us at ease. The room was comfortable and very clean, there was a considerable choice on the menu for an evening meal and breakfast too. Nothing seemed too much trouble. ALL the staff were very friendly- we could not have asked for more

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? This was the second year that we have spent Christmas at the Castle Inn and this year was as good as the last. The staff are always very welcoming and are determined that you will have a good time and enjoy your visit as much as they enjoy having you ther

We had a three night stay in Room 10 which is a very compact room with inadequate storage. Just 2 tiny drawers under the desk & a child sized built-in wardrobe. We had to leave clothes in our bags which we were tripping over as nowhere to store them When we entered the room the waste bin had not been emptied from the previous occupants and had soiled tissues and empty medication boxes in it. The room was cold because the radiator was not on We went to the bar area and reported both issues to the manager who asked us to wait in bar whilst he checked the thermostat and emptied the dirty bin. He advised he had fixed the heating so we went back to room, waited 30 minutes & still no heating so had to go back down to bar. He couldn’t sort the heating out so we requested an electric heater. He did provide a small fan heater which we had to use for the duration of our stay as the heating did not work throughout the 3 days The description of the rooms is not accurate: Listed as amenities are digital safes, Roberts DAB radios, Smart TVs There was not a safe in the room, no DAB radio or Smart TV - just a basic Freeview TV There was nothing provided in the room for our dog. The hotel web page states a bed is provided - this was not the case. Other hotels we have stayed at with Saskia have provided a small welcome pack of a doggy bowl, treats, towel. This makes a hotel fully dog friendly and not just allowing them to stay and be tolerated The bar area was very accommodating to dogs. She was able to join us at all mealtimes and upon request she received a sausage for breakfast which was much anticipated and enjoyed by Saskia. The food is of very high quality and of restaurant quality. We had three fantastic evening meals & breakfasts. At a cost of £478 for 3 nights B&B we did not expect such basic accommodation.
