“Room was a bit dirty towle rall was dirty had to clean it before putting towls on if .no nets in window so had to keep curtains close when getting dressed. Serves charge put on bill when we went to pay .with out asking .not happy”

“Wonderful place and people. We got a lovely large room, our dog got a sausage at breakfast (which she was VERY happy about) and the food and staff are all fantastic. They had a great offer on where if you had dinner with them you got a surprise voucher that could only be opened when coming to pay for another dinner. Anything from 10% off to the entire meal. We got free drinks (which we were very happy with) but as we'd only had a glass of wine each the bar staff surprised us with a whole bottle! Cannot recommend enough, they even make sure that if your dog is scared/reactive that they're left in peace and not seated near other dogs.”

“Staff are very friendly and food is excellent. Rooms however are dated and very tired. Had a great few days stay there. I would definitely ho back.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Nobody battered an eyelid when our pup took to barking at everybody that walked by, really is great place for dog and humans

“We all had a great time when we stayed recently really friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. They were great with Poppy as it was her first time in a hotel, they even offered her roast beef for breakfast! Lovely big bedroom we were on first floor overlooking garden. Food was lovely we ate there both evenings we had breakfast included which was also delicious. Would definitely recommend and would come back.”

“Very relaxed and welcoming from when we arrived. It was clear that it was a very dog friendly venue from the freedom for the dog to be with us when we were eating in the bistro to a dog waste bin located near reception. We were located in one of the courtyard rooms and there were at least 3 other dogs located in the nearby rooms which was so reassuring as all the dogs had an occasional bark but it didn’t disturb anyone else.”

“We recently stayed at the hotel. It was a lovely place, very welcoming, great staff and brilliant with Kane our dog. It was the first time for us to stay in a dog friendly hotel and would definitely recommend.”

“We just had a lovely weekend at Pettifers and they could not be more accommodating. Clean rooms, and wonderful cream tea on arrival which was scrummy. Very dog friendly and even gave our Bella a sausage for breakfast which was very thoughtful. Lots of walking activities locally so we would definitely recommend!”
