We had a friendly warm welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. There was plenty of space for our dog to lay down comfortable in the room. The restaurant was welcoming, a nice place to eat and relax with a drink. The food was lovely. There is a good secure walk for dogs along the river just a Cross the road from the hotel. Our dog enjoyed her walk there. We would stay at Pettifers again.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Clearly they were short staffed - but available staff did their best to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in particular our dog Seamus. The fact that he could join us at mealtimes was a bonus. The hotel wasn't pristine but acceptable. I think the fact that it was short-staffed made it difficult for them

Disappointing dinner menu and very slow service on our first evening. Very good breakfasts each day. Our dog not given as warm a welcome as we have received from previous Pets Pyjamas hotels and no doggy gift apart from sausage at breakfast. Room comfortable and spacious but not serviced daily.

This was our second stay at the hotel and again it was perfect. So dog friendly and all the staff were very patient with our seven month old puppy who has issues with barking at strangers! Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Fantastically friendly staff and my dog Dobbie was welcomed with a doggy biscuit on arrival. Dogs can go everywhere in the hotel - so bar, breakfast and evening dinner they could sit with you. Room a bit noisy as on the ground floor at the front near the busy road. Cotswold Lakes 15 minutes drive away with endless walks.

Room was perfect for our dog and venue was very nice. Disappointed by service in restaurant and breakfast when twice our order was lost. Issues getting hot water in show.

Pettifers Hotel is in a lovely position. Our room was a good size. A little tired but was absolutely fine for our two night stay. Great evening meals and breakfast. Super staff, they worked so hard. Nothing was too much trouble. Our cockapoo, daisy was made very welcome. A lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Hotel has good future but has a few minor issues to resolve
Room was large and clean but was at the back of hotel next to fire escape which everyone used night/day and set our dogs barking. No blinds or handrail in bathroom. They were under staffed which could be reason husband given chicken meal instead of pork. They apologised but it would have taken too long to replace it. 10% added to food and drink bill without asking was annoying. Happy to leave a tip but prefer to have choice especially as wrong meal served. Cream tea was lovely but no Pimms with it. The breakfast was tasty but on second day it must have been a different chief as it was half the size and quality poor. Staff friendly and helpful
