Great Hotel, tastefully renovated with modern touches and a lovely inclusive vibe. Nicely pet-friendly, engaging staff and excellent food. Their vegan options were well-considered and delicious. Even the alcohol-free beer was well-chosen. Highly reccommended.

We had a lovely short but sweet stay for 1 night at the King’s Arms. We received a warm welcome and all the staff were very friendly. The decor was really nice throughout the hotel and room was comfortable. They even gave us a goodie box of treats for our pup!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We did some great trips, Hive Beach Cafe is fab, West Bay Beach is thrilling, Portland Lighthouse is worth the trip!
Newly refurbished, the decor is really gorgeous. We are designers ourselves and so greatly appreciated the interior design details in every area of the hotel. It is a visual delight, but still very relaxed and comfortable. On top of that the food is incredible, generous portions of beautifully presented food certainly did not disappoint. The best thing though by far was the friendly staff, every single person was a delight, went above and beyond and left us in awe of the service. Our dogs were not just tolerated but loved. Highly recommend.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Peachy loved her gift
My wife and I returned yesterday from a two night stay with our Cockapoo Peachy. This was our first trip with her so we were a little unsure what to expect. We need not have been, the staff were amazingly friendly and did everything to make our stay special. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was the best I have seen for a long time. The food was fabulous, all in all we can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a lovely weekend, the staff are a credit to the hotel. Little touches like leaving fresh milk in the fridge and cut glasses to drink from make a difference

We had a great stay at The King' s Arms. The room was fabulously decorated with a grand shower and even a rain shower selection too. Plenty of room in the room itself with the hotel centrally located in Dorchester. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate delicious dinners in the bar area every evening that is designated for dog owners. Sometimes they have a special on the menu and the menu gets changed regularly too which makes it interesting if you are there for a few days. The food is outstanding with fab presentation. I'd say at least michelin star worthy and I am not exaggerating here. Charlie was with us all the time and received a lovely welcome package in the room. In the bar area where there is dining, there was plenty of room for the dogs to relax. Wine selection outstanding too as we had a different choice of bottle every evening. All day trips were easily reachable from Dorchester. we met other people who used the bus service to Weymouth, Lyme Regis or Corfe Castle. All worked welll for them. We have a car so drove to idyllic and beautiful spots. I loved Turtle Door the most, worth checking that out.
