“Very nice room, but expensive for just the room, and all food and beverages very expensive. Disappointed when I cam to pay my bill was charged £15 over the top of what I had. There was no explanation as to why, I guess that not all people like myself never check their bill. Would not use this hotel again as extremely small portions for what you ordered. Disappointed YES.”

“What a delightful place. Loved the boutique feel and decor. The staff were all fab and very attentive. Our room was perfect - so spacious and very tastefully decorated. I can highly recommend the food too, absolutely delicious. Our doggie, Reggie loved it too.”

“Little to be said against this old hotel right in the middle of a fine Roman town. The cleanliness of the place and friendliness of the staff were beyond reproach. Parking was ample, and many attractions were within an easy walk.”

“We stayed at this hotel with our dog Ci Ci this weekend and had a fantastic time, the hotel is immaculate and the staff were very accommodating, our room was ready 3 hours before check in and our room was upgraded. The rooms were lovely and very clean with great touches such as a minibar and fine touches Ci Ci much approved of the pooch. The staff were very friendly especially Brad from the bar and restaurant 10/10 for service and friendliness. The food was exceptional and well worth the money. We would highly recommend this hotel and will be going back in the summer, we have stayed many places with Ci Ci and this was by far one of the best.”

“Stayed in a "fancy" room for a 3 night break with our 2 dogs. Friendly welcome upon arrival, treat boxes for the dogs. Ate dinner in the bar with the dogs, good food but expensive wine! Lots of guests with dogs. Breakfast was lovely full Kings Arms was the perfect start to the day. Over all a lovely stay for our first Pet Pyjamas trip.”

“We stayed with our cockapoo Daisy in a cosy room. Everything about this hotel is brilliant - the welcoming and friendly staff, the building and decor, the food … it was all just lovely.”
