Very poor value, we were paying the full price for our stay, but it transpires that everybody we spoke to was on a half- price deal. Service by staff was poor, on ordering a drink in the bar I was presented with an unopended bottle of a soft drink. The restaurant was overpriced with mediocre food being served, we were unable to read the menu as it was so dark where we were sitting. The waiter helpfully suggested that we use the torches on our phones to view the menus, he was later requested by someone else to read the menu for them! All in all this hotel promised so much but sadly disappointed, the only reason that we would stay there again would be its very convenient proximity to the M5.

Absolute wonderful.dog friendly hotel. Breakfast was superb and staff set up a table for us in the library with our dogs. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Booked through Pets Pyjamas.

The building with all the public areas and the garden was truly beautiful. The room was very outdated with no air-conditioning. In the hot weather we had to use the fan all night and it was very loud. Leisure facilities needs some updates. Service was fine and staff were nice. Food way okay too.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Afternoon tea was lovely
The positives: The Brassiere staff, atmosphere and food were lovely. Very dog friendly, all the staff fussed him. Room 110, french windows into an enclosed lawned area with dog poo bin and on ground floor ideal for the dog. Lovely grounds. Good breakfast. Negatives: Limited information was given when checking in. Thus, we felt 'told off' when we hadn't booked a breakfast slot. The dog was not allowed in the bar area or main restaurant (therefore not allowed in for breakfast). This meant we could only go to the Brassiere to eat/drink, we wanted to relax reading a book on comfy sofas with the dog in the bar and couldn't. The gym and pool were adequate. The room was tired especially the bathroom. Whilst above there are more negatives it is a lovely hotel, we stayed in January and there is a lot of outside seating and would be perfect in the summer with the dog.

the Manor and its park are just magnificent, the dishes at the 1853 restaurant or at the Atrium are delicious and very good value for money. The spa is very well equipped and the team is very professional, but the changing room and the swimming pool could use some updating. The check-in is quite unique, having to book absolutely everything, from breakfast, to dinner, including the rooms cleaning. Just like the access to the swimming pool which must be booked in advance. The welcome is not particularly warm, there are a lot of people waiting to register. The service of the 1853 restaurant, at breakfast and at dinner is really disappointing, the waiters are quite rude and do not really correspond to the standard that we expect from a 4* hotel. The room with access to the patio for the dog is very practical. The bedroom is comfortable, silent, but the bathroom could be renovated, it is really old fashion. Overall very good stay, but the service is not top notch and four paws friends are accepted but absolutly nothing special for them.

We were all really impressed with Tortworth Court and will be going back again. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, and the dog beds and bowls in our room were lovely. The room was huge and had french doors straight out to our own little patio so easy to let the dogs out.

Duchess our Cavapoo puppy had a great stay. We were really impressed and happy that our room opened up to a secure grassed area where she was free to run around off the lead. Dog bed and bowls were also provided. The property also has lots of green space for walks around the property
