From the outset we were made to feel welcome, especially Monty our retriever. The dog friendly rooms are set at the back of the hotel so quiet and there’s grass in front. It’s an ideal location for visiting lots of historical towns and there’s a stream and a meadow ideal for dogs. Just an all round super friendly place with great food.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The staff were so welcoming and great with the dogs. Very informative on placeless to go and very easy to book through pets pyjamas
This is the seconds time we have been to this hotel, lovely rooms and great location for walks and located in a dog friendly village with a lovely dog friendly pubs although the not at the local Indian restaurant. A little distance away is Danbury fort and Andover. It's is great for visiting our family and will definitely go next year.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Breakfast was included and had everything on offer, continental and cooked breakfast. Would definitely go again
We had a 3-day 2-night stay at this lovely, friendly hotel, the room was nice and spacious and the hotel and village were very dog friendly, my two GR had lots of walks, locally and at Danebury hill fort and in Winchester. All had fantastic views and wildlife, even came across highland cows, and lots of other dog walkers. There were no restrictions for the dogs. The village has everything you would need as well as lots of places to eat all welcoming dogs.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I would definitely stay at The Grosvenor Hotel again and like to give a big thank you to, Sarah, Lucy, Richard and of course owner Simon.
It was our second time staying at this hotel with our dog. The Hayloft Suite was excellent for our 4 night stay, as we had everything to make our stay comfortable and enough room to relax. The team are amazing here, they are friendly and always greet us like we our long lost friends and also had a welcome as well as a breakfast, our excitable Labradoodle.

We had the most fantastic stay at The Grosvenor, they were super attentive to our dog, and he could be with us throughout the whole hotel. From the doorstep, there is an abundance of walks, and the most beautiful river!

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Only problem was lack of communication from Petspyjamas to hotel. No ceramic bowl for Maisie or morning sausage. At the end of our stay we were presented with the full bill, despite having already paid!
Very comfortable and welcoming hotel, very dog friendly. Great staff and good food

This hotel is an absolute gem. It catered for both humans and pooches and made our 8 month old pup feel very welcome, right down to having his own bowl with his name on, as well as being provided with a dog bed every time we went to breakfast, dinner, or just having drinks in the lounge area. Our garden room was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for all of us to relax comfortably. We had a large ensuite bathroom and if there was one slight downside, it was that the garden wasn’t fully dog secure, as there were gates that had to be left open for deliveries and access. We have already looked into staying again later in the year and look forward to the warm and inviting welcome we and our dog received. Thank you to all the team at the Grosvenor, especially Heidi on reception who couldn’t do enough for us and Ricardo, our evening entertainments waiter.
