“Stayed 2 nights at the Inn with friends and our pets. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the food at breakfast and our evening meal was first class. Staff very caring and friendly. Lovely walks around the area. Enjoyed it so much we will be going back.”

“During our 3 night stay at The Lifeboat Inn all the staff were extremely friendly, so helpful and could not do enough for our puppy, Charlie, providing him breakfast every morning and making him feel so welcome.The room was always cleaned every morning and fresh towels waiting on our return from a day out. The roll top bath was an added bonus. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it! Food in the restaurant was well presented and very tasty. Our friends joined us for a meal on Saturday and they too was impressed by the service. We so enjoyed our stay that we have booked again in October. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.”

“We were recommended to go to Lifeboat Inn, from a friend , going through pets pyjamas , was easy to arrange . Our stay was so good have booked again , in April , and got other friends with dog to stay as well .”

“The staff were faultless and the food excellent. We know the location well and it's great for dog walks, from beaches to countryside. For us, though, the room was just too small - and we were in a 'better room' which is apparently larger than the other options. We have two giant breeds and the combination of room size and too much furniture in there made for quite an uncomfortable stay. Plus it was bloomin' hot overnight and this in the dodgy summer temps we have just now. Really wouldn't want to be in there on a warmer night. We also didn't have any of the promised Pets Pyjamas extras (beds, bowls, sausages). Really can't fault people or menu, and the inside of the place is lovely (outside / sail seating a bit grubby, sadly) but any future visits would be day trips only.”

“We can't say enough for things about the Lifeboat Inn! They were welcoming from the minute we arrived, and gave a lot of fuss to our dog Molly whenever they saw her. The room was beautiful and the enormous bath was an unexpected surprise. We would definitely come back, thank you for your hard work to make our stay memorable.”

“This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast with our two cocker spaniels. The Lifeboat Inn was brilliant as so dog friendly. Overall we had a lovely break, but I would say that the room we had, which was rated best room, was in need of a little work. The door to room was incredibly hard to open and was a fire door so should of closed by itself. The bathroom door lock kept falling off. The shower ceiling was pealing and the grout between tiles needed to be redone. It had a beautiful roll top bath but I found it hard to get in and out as on a raised platform and I'm short, so had to be very careful did not miss the ledge when getting out. The food in evening was excellent and couldn't fault it. Very large portions. Breakfast really good first morning but the following days the poached eggs were over cooked. The ingredients were high quality so a shame. We did have a lovely time and really enjoyed our stay and the walks along the sea front.”

“Very dog friendly place to stay. The food was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was catered for dogs and owners to relax. Some beautiful walks I would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a weekend away from it all with your dog.”
