Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Scarborough is one of the least dog friendly towns we have visited only the Outer Hebredes is worse.

“This is a very dog friendly hotel which is very clean and the rooms are quite spacious, we stayed in a medium room at the rear of the hotel. The only minor downside was the heat in the room but with the window slightly open and the fan that was in the room it was simple to get the temperature down. Parking is very limted directly outside hotel but there is on street parking within a couple of minutes walk. Hotel will provide a map of which streets and give you a daily parking permit so no real issue for us. Meg our dog enjoyed her stay at the hotel as it was difficult to find dog friendly bars/cafes etc in Scarborough.”

“Fantastic stay and the Bike & Boot. Great service and really friendly staff. Room be was large , lovely , clean with great sea views. We are in Bareca for the 3 nights as the food and service was so good.. our spaniel Lola was well looked after and the hotel’s own groom room was a huge bonus after a few hours on the beach. The weather was mixed but still managed trips to Whitby ,Robin Hoods bay , Mallon and explores Scarborough. Would definitely recommend and return”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? An abundance of tea and coffee available but would be nice if hot chocolate sachets were available for those who don’t drink tea/coffee

“Excellent and efficiently run hotel, very welcoming to dogs. Nothing too much trouble for the friendly staff. Very relaxed and informal set up which suited us well. Good food in restaurant at a good price. Free cake available every afternoon.”

“Enjoyed a lovely three night stay. Great hotel situated near to the beach. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and evening meals. Complimentary beverages throughout the day. Our dog was welcome in all areas of the hotel. Spotless room with comfortable bed. Will definitely return without a doubt!”

“Just spent 3 nights at this amazing totally dog friendly hotel. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. We can not praise this hotel enough. It was Alfies (Cocker Spaniel) first time in a hotel and he loved it. The dog parlour was so useful as the weather was a bit wet at time.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Comprehensive menu both for lunch and evening meals, nice to be able to dine with Sadie

“Very nice accommodation for both Sadie and her owners Maggie and Paul. Top floor, thank goodness for the lift, nicely laid out, good shower, no dishes or dog biscuits provided, but we humans had a good stocked fridge, wine, beer, snacks and fresh milk. Lovely large towels, comfortable king size bed, all very clean.”

“It was great to find such a lovely and pet friendly atmosphere. dogs were welcomed in the restaurant and the hotel also had a designated area fully equipped to washing the pets after their swim/walk.”
