Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I was disappointed that pets pyjamas didnt offer a proveatch on the prove as i received an email from the hotel which would have saved us over £100 on our stay and I don’t think we got anything ‘extra’ booking via pets pyjamas so won’t be using this service in future.
Great hotel equipped for canines and humans! The staff were attentive and helpful The hotel was warm - thankfully the windows opened in our room, however then you couldn’t escape the seagulls they are constantly ‘talking’ even at night - not the hotels fault but also quite annoying at 5am in the morning! The breakfast was ok, think you would struggle if vegan.

All the staff were very friendly towards us and our dog. The food in the restaurant was great and catered well for vegetarians. Only four stars because this hotel wouldn’t suit everyone. - the self check-in terminals were an unnecessary complication because they have someone there to greet you anyway. - parking is on street with a permit you have to renew with reception every day. There is time to drop bags off outside the hotel entrance but then we were parked a six minute walk away. - there is a tiny lift and a lot of steps up and down between rooms. - you won’t get a full English breakfast. It’s toast and croissants but they do have facilities for boiling an egg. So, might not suit everyone but we liked it and the staff could not have been nicer. The location is perfect - right on the front and we had a wonderful sea view so if you look past the few things I have mentioned, it is a great hotel and well worth a visit - with your dog.

Dog friendly venue close to the South beach and other amenities. Beautiful sea views on one side of the hotel. The other side of hotel looks onto houses. Unfortunately seagulls are perched on the rooftops and are constantly squawking! Some rooms are not suitable for people with accessibility needs as there are stairs, otherwise a lift takes you to most of the rooms. We asked to move rooms for this reason and we weee moved to a room that was an upgrade without any additional charge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, offering coffee making facilities and a mini bar. Also doggie treats for our four legged friend. The breakfast is a continental breakfast. It would have been nice to have had more of a choice. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I lost my earring in the bedroom and they offered to post it to be recorded delivery. There is secure bike storage and bike wash and service station. We would stay at the hotel again when visiting Scarborough. Good venue if you have a dog or on a bike tour.

Immaculate, rooms very comfortable, crisp white sheets, not one dog odour / hair - the hotel is full of dogs so how they achieve this, credit to housekeeping! The staff / team are just brilliant and so friendly. Much better standard than I thought it would be. Good food and a really enjoyable stay. Parking pants but it's a coastal resort, rather than driving around trying to find a spot, just park in the big car park, 120 mtrs walk at the back of the hotel and it has a lift...would stay again!

We have just had a four-night stay at the Bike & Boot. The staff were great but unfortunately, this is where it stops. Our room was a large sea-view room the windows would not open and there were several dark brown stains on the carpet, we can only imagine what these were. The sinks in the bathroom were too low and were made of some sort of poor-quality tin. On our first night, we ate in the dining room and were very disappointed with the food quality we left the majority of it. Breakfast was a do-it-yourself one which we had the first morning and then went elsewhere for the remaining morning as the quality was very poor. We paid just under £200.00 per night and for this amount of money expected much better standards. My personal opinion was that Bike & Boot was an upmarket hostel, my wife's opinion was that this was a dog hotel that accepted humans. We have stayed in plenty of hotels with our dog and can confirm that we will not be returning to this one.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? For the price I paid I would have liked a served hot cooked breakfast
After very stressful January needed a short break pick me up with our pooch, found this hotel on PetsPyjamas and booked 3 nights bed and breakfast. On arrival greeted very warmly and impressed with our room, good space, comfy. Ate at hotel first night which was ok, breakfasts were self serve continental, staff efficient but looked fed up no welcome no smile. Our room at the back of the hotel meant we had a rude awakening each morning at 7am with the glass recycle collection. The weather was very kind to us. We enjoyed our stay the dog enjoyed his stay.

Excellent: friendly and helpful staff, quality food, comfy bed, location, free parking, automated check in/out. Good: powerful shower, dog washing facilities, dogs allowed in the restaurant. Room for improvement: the suite (below ground level) could use brighter colours on the walls (due to lack of natural light). Walls were also bare, felt a bit utilitarian. Could do with some nice wall decorations.
