“Lovely quiet location, rooms were clean and well decorated, felt instantly at home. Food in the pub is good quality, always made a fuss of Columbo. There is lots of places for dog walks, 5 min drive my to Cheveley playing fields and 10 min drive to Newmarket racecourse where dogs can access after 1pm”

“Staff were very welcoming, room was lovely and dog friendly, Rudy had everything he needed, bed, bowl, toy and treats and a towel. The bar and restaurant was very accommodating and encouraged us to eat in the restaurant with Rudy, even though it was his 1st time of doing this. He was very well behaved and they gave him lots of attention and not to mention treats! The food was lovely, and great location.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? my only negative was that the floor above us creaked an awful lot .

“fantastic 2 night stay , our ground floor room was lovely , very dog friendly room and the restaurant staff were also very welcoming . Our lurchers were even given their own bowl of sausages for breakfast and given dog treats in our room . The toiletries smelt divine and the tea and coffee was yummy . Such a great base to explore this part of Suffolk”
