“Great spot and good base for Lake District visit. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice Garden to eat and sit in ...... lots of bird song .... Taking our dog was made very easy”

“We had a lovely stay at the Pheasant Inn. Room was great, bed comfy, breakfast and dinner delicious. Staff all so friendly and our Cockapoo was made welcome. Great location for walks and visiting surrounding area. We will return.”

“A lovely and welcoming place to stay We have a German shepherd who was made very welcome Our room was massive and so was the bed Very clean and good food and drink”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? This break was amazing but there were no added extras considering we booked it through a Dog Holiday website. No ‘bedtime treats’ on arrival in the room , the dog treat ijar at the bar was permanently empty, we booked a dog friendly table for dinner but i

“This hotel is stunning and the location is so tranquil but with a really sociable vibe. The food is excellent and the rooms are spotless and very traditional.”

“Had a mid week stay at the Pheasant Inn. Lovely pleasant staff. Nice meals and the vegetarian breakfast was delicious. Our cockapoo thoroughly enjoyed his early morning walks through the garden and up to Wythop Woods. Room lovely and immaculately clean with super king sized bed. Definitely recommended.”
