“The Coniston Inn was fabulous! From the moment I arrived with my little pup Samphrey, to the moment we left. The Inn was cosy, warm and really inviting. My room was very nice and had all the expected things in it. One really nice touch was a battery powered lamp to explore at night with. The staff were very friendly and made me feel invited and welcome at all times. All staff love dogs and made a great fuss of Samphrey, which she loved. They were also helpful when they noticed I was travelling by myself and had Samphrey with me. Hoping to go again soon!”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It is essentially a spacious unapologetically high class pub - expect the food to fit the description. But you won't go to bed hungryl

“Lovely hotel with great views, good location just outside of Coniston. Clean, well maintained, good food and a very welcoming dog-friendly environment. The bar and restaurant staff were brilliant.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? we felt meals and wine were very expensive

“we were made very welcome, the staff were all brilliant. However, little things missing - no shelf in bathroom for toiletries. Towels were worn out - one of ours had holes in it! No leaflets or maps for places of local interest on display at reception. Room was clean, but decor very jaded.”

“Great stay, great location, and great for dogs. The staff is super friendly and worked hard to help whenever they could. The only issue was the food, which was really just average. Otherwise an amazing place.”
