Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It would have been good value had we stayed for the 2 nights, as it was it became very expensive for one night.
Fabulous hotel, Fabulous location, Fabulous friendly staff. The three stars is due to our room! I’m sorry to say the heat in room 34 was unbearable which meant we cut our stay short as we couldn’t sleep in this room. Despite a fan and keeping the windows open, nothing helped. On checking out, the receptionist was aware of the problem with that particular room and offered a portable air conditioning unit, it would have been helpful if we had been made aware of this on arrival or a note in the room giving advice. As it was we were packed up to go and didn’t want to take that risk. The dogs were extremely agitated by the heat in the room- thank heavens we weren’t in a heat wave! We would stay again and have been advised that rooms in the new extension are cooler !

Nice hotel and grounds leading to the lake. No problems with the dog, it seemed as if you had to make a point of asking for a 'dog menu' but as we didn't ask don't know what was included. Not always sat at an appropriate table for a dog. But it was hassle free. The fact that we had a dog was not acknowledged, a lot more has been made at other hotels we have stayed at. The bedroom was very hot and little air, they did provide a 2nd fan which made no difference. We could have moved to a different room, but that only had a shower.

Really enjoyed our stay and my dog loved it too! The menu in the restaurant could do with 1 or 2 more vegetarian options but the location was beautiful and all staff very friendly and dog lovers.

Great welcome from Tom on reception. All the staff were really friendly & helpful. A super dog friendly Inn with most residents having a dog with them. If you don’t like dogs then probably not the place for you! The fairy garden in the grounds were lovely leading down to the lake, with lanterns provided in the rooms was a really nice touch.

Excellent hotel for pooches and humans. Pooches welcome in every part of the hotel and staff were extremely friendly. Room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Bar food was delicious, the hotel grounds are large and well kept, can’t fault the hotel and would definitely recommend.

The Coniston Inn was clearly dog friendly and there were lots of dogs around. Outside there was a water keg. Inside was just disappointed that our room had no dog bed, or water bowl and was also expecting a little treat.
