“Not worth the money. Dated rooms and facilities, overly expensive food. Room not ready on arrival, cleaners left laundry and glasses, plates in the corridors.”

“The location is stunning and we were lucky the weather was good. The room, dining and grounds were great. Our dogs loved their walks in the pretty gardens and by the lake. Lots of waste bins which was really useful. We were in a ground floor room, close to the exit which helped when taking the dogs out. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The self service breakfast made things easier and there was a good choice. Hope to try other establishments from this inn company as they are very dog friendly. We have stayed at their inn in Helmsley and that was also very pleasant.”

“Rooms quite small but just room for two and a small dog. Staff friendly but obvious problems with staffing levels. Food disappointing. Most things on the evening menu unavailable. Breakfast even missing orange juice. Ate elsewhere on second night and was much better”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Lovely room, but if I had one issue it was that no dog bed was provided. Apart from that the location was great, plenty of room to walk, or run, with our dog!
