“This was an unexpected gem. The staff were very friendly and welcoming of our dog. The amazing glass beach is a short 5 minute drive away and completely dog friendly. We only stayed one night but plan a return visit. You will not be disappointed with this one.”

“Food and restaurant area were great. Staff were friendly and welcoming, Room was a little dark, but had everything as promised. Very dog friendly which was great, with welcome treats provided! A good 2 mile walk down to Seaham beach, but definitely worth it.”

“Just perfect for us two oldies and our Cockapoo POPPY. Perhaps our annexe room was a tad too small but overall, The Seaton Lane Inn provided everything we required. Lovely breakfast and excellent evening meals during our 3 night stay in a fabulous location.”

“This was my puppy's first vacation so we wanted to stay for only one night to see how he went. We followed the signs to go to reception, only the door was locked so we then had to carry all our stuff to the other side of the building. Once checked in, everything went well. Staff were polite and efficient. There were a lot of dogs there, both for our evening meal in the pub, and staying in the rooms. However, we were not given any instructions about where dogs could or couldn't go. We at dinner in the pub restaurant, service a slow, but food was good. The cleaners fawned all over my dog the next morning and gave him some treats and let us know that we could order a breakfast sausage for him. The room was small, but all we needed for one night. There were some 'bedtime biscuits' for our dog, but no other amenitites such as a bowl - luckily we came well prepared with his bed, toys, bowls etc. While there is room for improvement, it was a pleasant stay and we would go there again.”
