Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? Yes

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We both felt that for the price we paid for a three night stay was not good value for money. Therefore, we checked out of the hotel after the second night.

“On arrival we received a warm welcome, unfortunately during our stay we identified a few concerns. Firstly we noticed their was a damp area on the wall behind the TV, which resulted with the paint and plaster peeling off the wall. The shower unit that was attached to the wall in the bathroom was very loose and not sealed in properly. The choice of cereals, pastries, fruit and bread for breakfast was extremely poor, no jugs for milk, no tongs to use to pick up croissants and toast. We had dinner on our second evening, we felt that this was very overpriced for what we received.”

“We were looking for a peaceful break away with our dog and this was exactly what we got. From the moment we got there the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast which was included was a great start to the day with plenty to choose from. Would definitely visit again.”

“Accommodation was fine but was disappointed with food in pub for evening meal and breakfast also one of the waitresses I found very rude we were sitting in an area where there were 5 dogs and she came and gave treats to only two of them !! I found that rude in itself she was not welcoming at all when we entered and it’s cooked the experience for us”

“Overall an exceptionally nice place to stay staff all very friendly food good rooms warm clean and nice decor everywhere. Would definitely return again for a longer stay as it’s not far to the coast from there about half an hour,”

“Had a great New Year's Eve stay in Rm 5 (ground floor king room). Lovely room with plenty of space for 2 adults and our 2 labradors. Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. It was our first time taking the dogs away with us and first time to this area of North Yorkshire - we will be looking to go back soon. Didn't get any doggy welcome treats in our room but there were free treats on the bar at all times. Breakfast was delicious with loads of choice. Very dog friendly Inn - can't really relate some of the negative comments in other reviews to our experience. Thankyou Petspyjamas and Kings Head Inn for a lovely value for money, stay.”

“We’ve stayed here a few times now. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Dogs are warmly welcomed but they did miss their morning breakfast sausage this time….it is under new management so they not be aware…..”
