Had an absolutely wonderful 3 night stay for my dog Paul’s 1st Birthday. Both my husband and I as well as Paul were made to feel very welcome. Stayed in a garden room which was ideal for toileting Paul and stretching his legs. The bed was comfortable. The room was well equipped and spacious. Loved having the Nespresso machine. We ate dinner and breakfast in the bar each day and it was good to be able to take Paul with us. The food was delicious. Lovely choice of wines. Paul even had a sausage each day for his breakfast and lots of fuss from the lady who served it (sorry but don’t know her name) especially n his Birthday. Thank you for all Paul’s treats. Great location for driving to some good walks. Even though it was early in May when we stayed the weather was warm and sunny enough to get a tan. We would definitely recommend this hotel and love to stay again in the future. Thank you to all who played their part in making our stay so memorable.

We had a lovely couple of days here. The food was outstanding as was the accommodation and staff. There were a few things that could have been better. The staff seemed unsure of what was included in the package. We had to ask for the doggy welcome pack which we never did get. Also we had to ask for the ‘cream tea on arrival’ the following day. The garden could have been enclosed for the dogs as it was right next to the car park. The dogs were made a fuss of and given a sausage for breakfast and water bowl in the pub dining area. We would definitely come again and with these minor things improved, it would be perfect!

We (my wife, Poppy our lab and myself) were welcomed and felt very valued by all the amazing staff at the Bell Inn. The room was lovely having the garden straight in front was particularly useful, and with a bin for dog waste (some places seem to forget that bit). The food and drink was excellent, made all the better to have Poppy with us. Lots of great touches, lovely toiletries and electric charging point for the car was a bonus. Thank you to all the wonderful staff, definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our PetPyjamas exclusive break at The Bell in Stilton. This updated old coachhouse is stylishly decorated with good quality furnishings. We were housed in the Forge, an extension of the main hotel leading directly onto a pleasant garden, which was ideal for our dog, Mungo. All the staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, not only to us but also to Mungo. Warm scones in our arrival cream tea were delicious, dinner was superlative and breakfast full of choice. This PetsPyjamas package was also extremely good value for money.

The garden rooms are lovely and nicely decorated, they have direct access to the garden so you can let your dogs out easily for comfort breaks. You can dine with your dog and you don’t feel left out or unwanted. The staff at breakfast were particularly lovely and the dogs got a morning sausage and fuss. Location wise there is nothing directly near by so be prepared to drive out for the day. We googled dog friendly things to do and visited Cambridge which is about 40 minutes away. We made use of the park and ride as parking in Cambridge is £30 a day. We took a punting trip and dogs are welcome, check your punting prices before as they do try to rip you off. £20 pp is a reasonable price to pay and dogs go free. Be aware of the crazy cyclists in Cambridge they do not stop and happy to cycle into you and your dog! Ely cathedral was also good to visit, dogs are allowed in. Ely itself is not so dog friendly as most cafés won’t allow dogs in unless you sit outside, outside options were limited. Starbucks however allows dogs and serves puppucino’s for them. We ate at The Bell Inn both nights, food was great, with a lot to choose from. Breakfast was also excellent with a good choice of options. The pub itself was lovely and cosy, good for a little break and rest. Overall great value for money on the barking Britain package.

Our room was lovely and backing on to the garden was really helpful as we could just open our door and let Tanga out for a run around without any worries. The staff were absolutely delightful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the food was very good indeed and there was also a really good circular walk through farmland and back through the village. Tanga would definitely give The Bell 5 stars and the only reason we can't is because our bathroom was a little tired. Not dirty or anything like that but it could just do with freshening up a bit. We had a lovely couple of days.

We stayed here for two nights with our little Yorkie. We were using it as a base to visit Cambridge and Stamford. We had one of three rooms which opened out directly onto a large lawn, so perfect for the pooch. The room was a good size, well equipped (even a Nespresso machine). The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The staff were all very helpful
