We stayed one night with our 2 labs, the staff were very friendly, helpful and dog-friendly. Our room was a good size with plenty of space for 2 medium-sized dogs, clean and welcoming. Because we had our dogs with us when we ate we sat in the very nice bar area and not the restaurant, the food was really good and there was a good selection of drinks. A nice touch from Pets Pyjamas was the dog treats, ball, bags and bowl.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? When I went to pay at the end of our stay i was dismayed to find out that there was more than I had bargained for. There was extras drinks added to my bill for which I didn’t have, it seems that any Tom, Dick or Harry could have added to my bill by giving my room number to the bar staff
The bedroom was comfy and clean but the bathroom floor was filthy we found this out when some bath water spilled onto the tiled floor, when I started to clean up the spillage the tiles started to become cleaner. When I told the people in charge at reception they just seemed to shrug it off and said I’ll have a word with cleaners. For the bathroom floor to be in that state it would have had to have been left and not deep cleaned for months.

Staff was fantastic, good food, but the garden room, where we stayed was not properly insulated, all noises from outside including people talking and birds chirping came inside the room all night. My dog kept barking all night long, we had booked 2 nights at the hotel, but due to the circumstances we had to head home earlier. We only stayed one night.

What a wonderful time we had at The Bell - dinner was superb and the breakfast amazing choice - the rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean - we all found the staff to be amongst the loveliest we have ever had in a hotel and they were friendly and very efficient. The dog was made a big fuss of and even had her own sausage at breakfast so she wasn't left out. We had a fantastic deal through Pets Pyjamas and have booked another trip through them later in the year.

Hi, I'm Sweep. I have just enjoyed four nights at the Bell Inn, Cambridgeshire. It was a great place with some lovely comfortable rooms. My room was one of the garden rooms. I really liked it because when I stepped out of the door there was a huge lawn with benches on it. We walked around the village and found a great dog field not very far away. My mum made a booking and I had a fantastic run around. I practised my recall. I'm still not perfect, but every little helps! The people at the Coachouse in served delicious food to Mum and Dad. It looked and smelled gorgeous. Mum and Dad both said it was fantastic. They had something called an afternoon tea and they also tried a tasting plate of different Stilton cheeses. They were surprised at how different they all were. The best thing on the holiday for me at the hotel was the breakfast. I got my own sausage every morning. Yum! Stilton is a quiet village, with a couple of other pubs and a park. There are some very old buildings there. It is within easy distance of Peterborough and Cambridge. The nearby A1(M) can be heard wherever you are in the village, but cannot be heard inside the inn (With the windows closed). I have been to 2 other Coachhouse Inns, and they have all been great.

Nice pub/hotel. Very friendly staff. Good food and our dogs were given a sausage for breakfast which was a nice touch. The town itself has very little to offer, but was easy to find and easy parking made it a smooth stay. Thanks .

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Mungo thoroughly enjoyed his stay again.
The Bell is an extremely characterful and comfortable hotel. We took advantage of a Pets Pyjamas Exclusive two night stay here last year and were extremely impressed by the accommodation, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food, so we decided to make a repeat visit this year. Although we and our dog were warmly welcomed and our room was very comfortable, there was a general lack of attention to detail including a mistake being made with the booking for our evening meal which resulted in the hotel being unable to provide us with dinner. We had to drive to another village to buy a takeaway, which rather detracted from our short break! However, we received a sincere apology and a refund covering the cost of a hotel meal. I expect The Bell has been affected by staff shortages and hope that they will soon be able to recruit more staff in order to return to the high-class service we previously enjoyed.
