“I only stayed one night with my dog for a visit to Foxton Locks. Room was clean and comfortable and had everything one would need including iron and ironing board! Reception staff were very helpful. Very good value. Would definitely visit again. Thank you.”

“The hotel staff made us feel very welcome. They made the effort to greet Freya as a valued guest. Dog bowl in room with treets and tennis ball. The room, just right.. immediate access to the outside. There was a dog friendly bar with bowls of water placed fordogs.”

“Everything was fine but i have been to other hotels where they left dog bowls treats etc in the room and there wasn’t anything to mark it as being dog friendly rather than just a room where dogs were accommodated. We booked an evening meal in the hotel but they weren’t prepared for the dog so they had to find a table elsewhere for us which relied on other people moving. Breakfast was accommodated downstairs for the dog and again because of this the usual coffee wasn’t available downstairs however he relented and as a favour provided a flat white for me. The food on the hotel was good no issues at all there. Just not a dog friendly place ii would say. However it seems it’s the only hotel in Market Harborough that accommodates dogs.”

“Staff lovely, didnt get doggy pack or any dog treats while we were there,dogs allowed in but didnt cater for dogs ,very noisy place ,food was excellent room ok ,we reserved a table for dinner at reception like we were told to but no table was reserved for ,lucky they weren't busy and could fit us in”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? They did cook our dog a sausage for breakfast and the staff were obliging; it just felt slightly less welcoming than other Coaching Inns

“Having stayed at a number of Coaching Inns, we were slightly disappointed to not receive the same treatment as at others. We received no treats, toy, dog bowl or poo bags and being banished to the bar, which was some way from the restaurant, felt very soulless and second rate. The food was good and the room a decent size, but tired. We felt that they accepted dogs, rather than welcomed them.”
