“We were very impressed with the Feathers Hotel. A very warm welcome was received from all the staff. Their freindliness and efficency continued throughout our stay. The food was second to none. We had comfortable seating to eat with our border terrier both for breakfast and our evening meal. Especially the breakfast that we had in the lounge with the domed glass roof. All areas clean and tidy. We did request a larger bedroom which was immediately dealt with and we wer offered a choice of two larger bedrooms. Excellent.”

“The Feathers is an excellent hotel to stay at - for humans and dogs! The room we had was very comfortable, clean and spacious - large enought to take two humans and two cavis! The food is excellent with a good selection on the menu and is definitely worth booking a table when you stay here. The staff are friendly and attentive. The Hotel is situated across from the market square and is an ideal location to walk around the small town and take in all that it offers - the many different and quirky shops - cafes, bakeries, hardware, jewelry and a superb 'old fashioned' sweet shop! Helmsley is also a good location to get to the coast - Scarborough is easily accessible and other parts of this beautiful area - Pickering, Kirby Moorside, etc. The Feathers Inn is a really comfortable hotel to stay at and I would definitely recommend a stay!!”

“Just had a 4 day break at The Feathers Hotel with our dog. The whole experience was great - lovely accommodation , delicious food & helpful, friendly staff. The surounding countryside is beautiful - the coast is nearby & there are numerous local attractions. Well worth another visit & its definitely back to the Feathers for us. A big 'thank you' to the 'PetsPyjamas' Team !”

“Second visit to this lovely hotel in the charming village of Helmsley. Both ourselves and the two dogs loved every minute of our stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful nothing is ever too much trouble. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay short by one night due to a family bereavement but we will definitely be going back again at a later date.”

“The Feathers Hotel was the perfect location for a mini-break. The hotel is comfortable and has character with lovely friendly staff. Helmsley has a lot to offer for a small town with easily accessible walks on the doorstep and places of interest to visit.”
