“This week we had two nights at The Feathers in Helmsley. We booked with Pets Pyjamas as we have a number of times. We took our 18 month old black labrador, her first time at a hotel. The staff were wonderful with her...and with us. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. The food was lovely. Eggs florentine at breakfast was perfect. Would definitely go again.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Thoroughly recommend to anybody who has a dog but even if you don't the hotel is great and full of charm

“We stayed at The Feathers for 1 night to break our trip from Kent to Scotland and 6 days later to break the return journey. Both rooms allocated were pristine, nicely decorated and the beds really comfy. There was a water bowl, towel, ball and biscuits in the room for Larry and he was allowed to keep the ball. The staff made us and particularly Larry our 2 year old lurcher/German Shepherd X welcome. This was Larry's first time away from home so we were apprehensive about staying in a hotel but everything was fine. The evening meal was exceptional, with the biggest whitebait starter, followed by venison casserole with herb dumplings, my husband and Larry shared a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. The hotel is situated in the market square with a wonderful array of local shops and of course the market on a Friday.”

“This is our second stay at the Feathers and it didn't disappoint. The Hotel is a lovely old building and the rooms are well furnished and very comfortable - for us and our two dogs. There is a great welcome pack for the dogs - balls, towels, poo bags and treats, so it does make the dogs feel welcomed. The Hotel also has an excellent dinner menu with a great selsction of food - we have eaten in the Hotel on all nights we have stayed! Dogs are allowed in one of the dining rooms both for dinner and breakfast (which again, is a greta selection and meets all needs). All the staff are so welcoming - to humans and, particularly, to dogs - with treats being carried! Highly recommend Feathers Hotel and is in a lovely location.”

“We were very happy with our room which was spacious, clean, well stocked with toiletries, drinks and treats for our dog. We really felt welcome and looked after. The hotel was well situated to get out and about in the lovely Helmsley. Would definitely recommend and will return”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We would recommend a stay at The Feathers and we would definitely stay here again.

“Had a very enjoyable stay. Had a lovely room, with coffees, teas, biscuits and bottled water. There was plenty of room for our Airedale and Beagle. The dogs enjoyed their treats and my Airedale loved to play with the tennis balls that were left in a bowl each. Also provided were towels, poo bags and even puppy pads, but we didn't use these. We enjoyed the cream tea, the breakfasts and our evening meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”

“Great staff, great food, great room From arrival to departure everything went smoothly managed to get checked in early, Even though on the Saturday evening they had a party of 120 staff still give the same friendly and attentive time to you making you feel special. Also I would like to thank pets pyjamas for everything they did for us in booking this short break to celebrate my hubbies birthday”

“Just like to thank all the staff and management for making our 51st Wedding Anniversary just that bit special. The meals were amazing. A big shout out to Scarlett for looking after us, nothing was too much trouble. We will be back x”
