Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would stay again maybe on a Sunday and Monday as the offer on a Sunday for dinner was really good
Lovely room lovely people we just think menu was limited we are not massive eaters and the sandwiches stopped at 5 pm just think menu needs a review to have more lite bites and maybe a share platter .

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? If you say your dog friendly you need to be dog friendly space is important.
Food fantastic Room had cobwebs and leaking toilet tanning cream stained towels. Very basic Interior needs some tlc. Breakfast team were great. Not enough space in the room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. The location is fantastic. Not worth the cost.

If youā€™re looking for a base to tour the area with your pup this place is perfect. The staff were friendly and approachable if we needed anything and told us about the walks from the Inn. The food was great too.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? A beautiful region to explore
A warm welcome from the staff. Unfortunately the evening chef was ill so no food available in the eveningā€™s. The building is tired and desperately in need of redecorating. Shower drain blocked and flooding. Radiators in room require bleeding so there is some heat! We wouldnā€™t stay there again

Positives: the location is gorgeous and excellent for walkers, and the staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Unfortunately, we were a bit let down by our stay here overall and I can't say it was good value for the money. The carpets in the hallways were unclean, the walls of the room had large scuff marks, one of the curtains was falling off the railing, the shower was a bit dirty and the bed didn't have a bed-skirt or any covering over the old divan. We don't mind accommodations being basic, but this felt pretty run down. The night before our stay here, we stayed at another dog-friendly hotel for Ā£90/night that was very comfortable and spic & span.

A truly dog friendly venue- we were made to feel very welcome, including our 18 month old labrastaff who can be a little bouncy- the furnishings were robust enough to not worry about minor scratches so. Dinner was amazing.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It was absolutely brilliant, for dogs, walking and food
I can't write a short review because it was the most wonderful place to stay with your dog and I have so much to say. The hosts were warm and welcoming to their guests both two legged and four legged. I can't thank them enough for making our stay so enjoyable. I've never experienced such a friendly atmosphere. Most people staying had dogs and the comaraderie was exceptional. It really is the most dog friendly hotel I have ever stayed in. Set in a beautiful part of the Peak District with sensational walks from the hotel and nearby by car, the included substantial breakfast set us up for the day. The meals in the evening were so delicious, we didn't need to go anywhere else. Thank you so much Jason and Marie. You really are the hosts with the most and Jason's understanding of dog psychology and behaviour is phenomenal. Thank you so much to him for his really helpful tips.
