“Very disappointing experience. The heating was not working and the water was lukewarm, not adequate for a shower. The meal was not particularly hot either. The bed was poorly made up and I question how clean it was.And the management were not very helpful, attentive or apologetic.”

“We arrived one day late for our 2 day break. However we would not have stayed for a second night. The lodge was dirty and many repairs are required. The shower was not connected, we had to use the plastic hose on the taps, the lodge had obvoiusly had a leak and the ceiling repair was shocking. The cooker was old , rusting and overall very disappointing. I could go on , but not see the point. I wouldnt recommend you send customers not this location until things improve.”

“On arrival we didn't get the one bed log cabin that we booked, the accommodation that they did give us was full of cobwebs and very dirty, also other guests dogs were jumping into our private patio area. When we complained to staff the next day they were so unhelpful that we ended up leaving a day early I asked about a refund and the hotel staff informed me that they would not give a refund.All in all a terrible experience”

“Situated in a lovely area down a "B" class road with passing places...a bit scary at times. If it's pictuesque and tranquility your after this is the place! Other than the hotel which albeit friendly is in need of some desperate tlc. There is nothing to do but walk. We stayed in a one bedroom lodge. Again ideal but in need of some tlc.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? It said there were lots of good dog walks, which there wasn't Too many sheep roaming about

“The inside of cabin was very nice,but outside could do with a bit of a clean up, looking very tired. There was a fridge but had no freezer compartment. There was no blankets or bowls for dogs”

“We stayed for 2 nights with our son and dog. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by the man on reception. The food was delicious both at dinner and breakfast time. The bar maid was very chatty and made us feel so welcome. It was great being able to take our puppy into the bar with us. We stayed in an apartment and was so clean and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay”

“Enjoyed our stay in the log cabin the area around the cabins needed some TLC. Beautiful views of the Loch”
