“Lovely location, staff very friendly and our room clean and comfortable. Plenty places to take the dog for a short walk. Food was good but a limited menu. Benji enjoyed his sausage for breakfast”

“Quite possibly the best hotel we've stayed in with our fluffy friends. The accommodation was amazing with access straight out onto open space, food was exquisite and even sausages for the canines personally delivered by the chef each morning. We will definitely be returning - this is a stunning hotel”

“We were made very welcome when we walked in (including the dog). Room comfy and very clean. Food excellent. All staff were really nice. Would definately go there again.”

“We had a perfect stay at The Manor. The Manor House was beautiful,grounds gorgeous and the food was absolutely lovely. The staff were particularly kind to ourselves and our Border Terriers.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I booked the manor for my partners 91st birthday. I had an email from the hotel saying there were workmen in the hotel because it was being renovated. I thought this wouldn’t matter because they would be gone by the evening. I thought we wicked be dining in the dining room in the Manor House. Imagine how upset I was when we arrived to be told that the manor house was completely closed and that we would be sleeping and eating in a modern annex. I was so disappointed.

“A great hotel with a really lovely room. Staff were amazing and food was very good. I had to book this hotel directly myself after petspyjamas failed to secure my booking after happily taking my money. I also know they lied and tried to shift the blame on the hotel. I only found out 12 hours before my trip and they failed to show competence in sorting it out. I simply called the hotel myself and booked easily. Why couldn’t petspyjamas do that? I did however receive my refund in a few days but made sure I nagged them otherwise I’d probably have to wait a lot longer. Would’ve expected a nice voucher to say sorry but I don’t think they really care. Shame. Won’t be using them again.”

“Very friendly. Excellent staff who remembered us and which table we had the previous day, which was a nice touch. Loki the lab was happy. Worth noting that you can't take your dog into the dining room. They'll give you dinner in the lounge with your dog but there are only one or two tables big enough. On the down side the 'spa' is not really a spa but just a pool (no jacuzzi, steam room etc). Also, the decor is a bit dated; not as nice as it appears on photos.”

“From the warm welcome when we arrived and throughout the three night stay, the break was superb. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, courteous and helpful. The service was impeccable at mealtimes and throughout the day. And the Food was fabulous! The Welcome Packs for humans and canines were generous and delicious, and we really liked that a bed and bowls were provided for our dog. She loved the treats, the toy in her Welcome Pack, and the lovely walks. We loved the walks and the red kites roosting nearby. On a negative front, parts of the bathroom and the (wonderful, clean, warm) swimming pool area looked a bit tired, but we did see that there is a scheduled closure for this to be handled in January. I am certainly looking forward to a return visit!”
