Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would have been nice to have one area in the extensive grounds where dogs could be “off lead”.
Lovely hotel, excellent food and great service - what more could we ask?

We had a short 2 night stay at this charming hotel. It is very unique set in lovely surroundings I loved it. Food great, staff made us very welcome, cannot fault it at all. Perhaps it is worth saying that the beach is very stony which made it hard work for the dogs when the tide was in, but the mud flats were great when out.

An amazing welcome for Mavis from the moment we stepped out of the gravel with a dog bowl at the door and a biscuit in reception! The food and service were excellent with a dedicated series of lounges for dining with your dog - I actually preferred these to the main restaurant, much more cosy. Great location just minutes walk from Climping beach and an easy hour walk to Littlehampton (road free). The spa was busy but had good facilities - excellent facial and massage, would definitely go back for this!

We enjoyed a two-night stay; a really interesting property that works pretty well for dog owners with lots of space for exercising the dogs and access to a pebbly beach. Great food and attentive staff.

This is our fifth visit. As always staff are polite and go out of their way to help you. Rooms are all beautiful. Spa is one of the best I have visited. Food is innovative and delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and great location and staff are very friendly. However, the accommodation and service was poor. We went for THREE nights. We were given a room initially that was very tired looking, dark and in the eves of a cottage. Poor plumbing kept us up most of the night if anyone used the toilets in rooms below. After complaining...they kindly moved us the next morning to a more modern room in another building which was lovely. However, our 14yr old was given a bed that was for a very young child and therefore it meant I had to sleep on it, while he slept in our double bed and I had two very difficult nights sleep. Sadly the hotel could not give us a larger room as they were fully booked. Also we had a dog we could not eat in the main restaurant ( which is perfectly understandable) and sat in the lounge...which was fine but service was poor as they tended to forget we were there. We luckily only ate dinner the first night in the hotel...and we found it very over priced. Our son ate from the adult menu...which was a three course meal and we paid roughly £70 for him alone. As the children's menu was very limited and portions were small. Overall, not the most restful weekend we had hoped for. However, our dog had a great time..and the Spa treatments were excellent...;-)
