Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I have coeliac disease and nothing was too much trouble for the chef. Each meal I chose was carefully tweaked to make it safe for me.

“This is our second stay at the Horseshoe Hotel and we absolutely love it! Staff are all dog lovers and such a fuss is made of canine visitors, from the treats jar on the bar, the doggie soap, towel, comfy bed, bowls and treats tin in the room, to the sausage breakfast each morning. The Hotel is welcoming to human guests too! Our room was comfortable, overlooking a pretty babbling brook, and treats for us too! The bar and restaurant feel safe and relaxing and our evening meals, (we stayed 3 nights), were excellent. Full English breakfasts are brilliant too! There is an outside bar and, with the sun shining and music playing, we could easily have been abroad. Also, there is a farm shop, stocking a good array of local goods and produce. Short drives to dog friendly beaches and several local walking trails, make the Horseshoe an ideal base.”

“We had a very enjoyable 3 day stay at this pub/hotel. The food and garden areas were lovely and the out door bar a super addition. Rooms were fine and dog friendly touches appreciated. Would have preferred a proper kettle and a quick room refresh each day, though appreciate staff shortages.”

“Would stay again. Great location for exploring and lovely garden to relax in. Food was amazing and staff could not do enough for us. Dogs catered for with bed, treats and feeding bowls. Lots of fussing for our dog and sausage for breakfast. Would recommend”

“Great food. Great hospitality. Beautiful location. The hosts love dogs and each one gets a grilled sausage for breakfast. Problem is my dog expects one every morning now!”
