“What a wonderful place, a really warm welcome. The room was very comfortable, even provided a bed for our small terrier. The food was excellent and the Full Yorkshire breakfast set us up for the day. Would definitely stay .there again”

“The hotel is well placed being near to Whitby and the Coast and on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. We were very pleased with the excellent quality of the food so far as evening meals and breakfast is concerned. Overall it is good value. Our room was looking a little dated is was comfortable. The welcome was good - especially dog friendly. A great bar with excellent beer. I would recommend the hotel to others. The room that we had was above the kitchen and could be noisy at times.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We had excellent coffee at the on site farm shop and they did a very posh packed lunch for us

“Just returned from a fabulous 3 day break at the horseshoe. The hotel is quaint and full of character. Breakfast and meals are wonderful. Troy our poodle was treated like a Prince with his own Breakfast sausage and lots of attention. We loved it that much we have booked to return later in the year.”

“Brilliant stay, friendly service and great food. Dog enjoyed his free pawbon biscuits. Ideal walking area. Enjoyed the little farm shop on the grounds.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, everyone was friendly and very helpful. Rosca the dog was very nervous of the door at the bottom of the stairs and the staff actually helped by carrying her up the stairs until she felt safe. Rosca was treated like a VIP and she loved it. Thank you to the staff, we haven't been away from home since the start of the Pandemic and we felt really relaxed. You really have to try the cake in Farm Shop it is really good. thank you for the warm welcome and will definitely be back Angela, Wendy & Rosca”
