Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Charlotte in reception really helpful.. well done... !
Stayed for 2 nights at he Dunes... possibly the most dog aware and friendly place we've stayed at. Room was of a good size, a short walk through reception to the outside for urgent dog related calls (!). Has an open wild field directly opposite, ideal for exercise although can get a little waterlogged following rain. About a 15-20 min walk to the sand dunes reaching down to a great sandy beach. Has a small car park there should that be better for some. Dogs should ideally eat in the bar area adjacent to the dining area, although should all the bar tables be full of dogs, they were relaxed about overflowing into the dining room. On the not so good bits, there was a wedding at the hotel on the second day which whilst using different parts of the hotel did impact the evening meal service for those in the bar/dining areas (ordered at 7:30, food arrived at 9:00...). Possibly staff shortage? Advertised dog sausage at breakfast was repalced by a small bowl of dog biscuits. Dog didn't mind though... :) Overall, a great stay.... Many thanks to all...

Very efficient and welcoming check in. Treats for our dog in a very spacious double room. Food and drink in restaurant/bar extremely reasonably priced and an excellent breakfast

Nice hotel and staff but no doggy welcome pack. Floors very creaky in corridor so are dogs where barking every time someone walked past. Staff need to know what the fish catch of day is on food menu. Was it Thai curry curry, green Thai curry or chip shop style curry. Never seen fish chopped up on a curry so sent it back. Still awaiting feedback from hotel and pets pyjamas on are refund.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? The dinner on second night - the salad the egg white was raw/undercooked , the haddock was supposed to come with skin on fries however came with chunky chips which I donā€™t like asked about it, they took away and after asking several times more eventually brought the skin on fries by the time the fish was stone cold
We booked a two night barking Britain stay at this hotel - it was advertised as - ā€œThere are ten rooms available, all of which welcome dogs, and they are all located on the ground floor, for easy access to the outdoors! Each room has luxurious beds for you and your doggie, plus en-suite bathrooms, and are styled with contemporary decorā€™ Sadly this wasnā€™t what we got - we were on the first floor and the room was not luxurious - it had an iron burn in the carpet and had damage to the units - it was however clean I think the hotel should also explain the package to guests so they know what they are entitled too The breakfast was nice and the surroundings pleasant

The staff were delightful and could not have been more welcoming. We and our two Bearded Collies had a relaxing stay. We would not, however, describe it as a luxury hotel, being more geared up for people working in the area than for holidays. It's almost there, but not quite. The room was too hot but suffered from farmyard smells and road noise if we opened the window.. there was no special provision for our dogs (no bowls, beds, towels, treats..) . There is a great dog walking field and dog waste bins provided, but will be better if eventually fenced in. No shelf for toiletries in the shower and couldn't lower shower head. A few electrical appliance didn't work - shaver light and wonky light by bed. There was no fridge even in an "executive" room. lWe were alarmed to find a hairdryer with missing switch and exposed wiring (replaced immediately on request). The landfill across the road was sometimes smelly, there were also farmyard (pig?) odours, room was hot but we couldn't open the window because of these smells. The dunes and beach were lovely but further away, down a narrow lane, than the publicity suggested, not an easy walk. All in all disappointing for a "luxury" hotel but still enjoyable.

The hotel is lovely we liked the quiet location very nice for a walk in the country side with the dog .our problem was on the first night we waited about one hour for our dinner. on day two and three some of the breakfast food was cold we're told the hot plate keeps tripping .and at dinner time on day three there was three meals missing from the menu which was bad because on the first day we were told the hotel was busy all week
