“What a fantastic place! Beautiful venue and surroundings, with incredibly dedicated and hard-working employees. From front of house, to room service, everyone went to the next level to provide a great experience. We'll definitely be visiting again.”

“The staff seemed rushed and stressed mostly. Not very friendly at all. Laura was the one exception. Smiling, courteous and genuinely friendly at all times. The quality of the food was the real let down. No provenance on display supporting local producers which is a real shame. Our evening dinners were very average and our one evening of room service was literally thrown together. Having said that, the property was very dog friendly, with lots of paths and walks to explore. The accommodation was comfortable and quiet. However, no electricity on the morning of check out meant we had no water for a shower. We couldn’t even flush the toilet. There was no pre warning from reception and we left feeling a little deflated by the whole experience. We won’t be returning.”

“A very interesting and wonderful building with history which hasn’t been spoiled by the current owners but enhanced by their beautiful restoration of the Hall and Grounds. From the greeting you received on arrival and throughout our stay the staff were exceptional.”

“From the moment we arrived at Pale Hall, the staff were welcoming, attentive and very friendly to us and our dog. Our room was lovely as is the rest of the hotel. Grounds are perfect. Lots of nice little touches, hand made treats for us and our dog in the room plus a little goody bag when you leave. Definitely worth a visit.”

“From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt truly welcome. Our 8 month old pup was loved and cared for. The food was fabulous and the room very comfortable. I would particularly like to thank the staff for their care and especially the way they looked after our pup. A great experience and we will definitely be back soon.”

“Pale Hall is a lovely hotel with an extremely relaxed feel. Dogs are most welcome and are really well looked after. Our golden retriever felt very much at home roaming through the extensive hotel grounds. The food was excellent, the service was first rate and the staff clearly care. All in all a great experience and we will certainly return soon.”

“The hotel is fantastic. From the moment you step through the door, you feel like you are special from the welcome drinks and treats for Troy our Cairn Terrier. Excellent quality food and service. Rooms are spacious and the grounds are beautiful, ideal for Troy to wander through.”

“We had a lovely 2 night stay in a garden suite at Pale Hall. This place is super dog-friendly... everyone greeted our dog by name, and there were all sorts of dog supplies in the room, and large and beautiful grounds for dog walks. On the night we had a meal in the restaurant we had a dog-sitter, Christina, come to the room -- she was excellent, as was our 8-course dinner. Luke and Paul and all the rest of the staff were brilliant. Our stay could not have been better.”
