“This was a overnight stop on our way down to Norfolk and a first with our two golden retriever pups , the hotel and our room where excellent, our pups sat in the restaurant under our table most of the time apart from making friends with our doggy’s that came in . The meals where really good and the staff very attentive. So good we have re booked on our return journey .”

“I don’t usually leave bad reviews..but this place was really awful. Firstly, the rooms are ‘motel’ style in the car park, that’s ok if it’s what you’re expecting that -we weren’t. Our room was directly outside the back door to the pub, right opposite the extraction vent for the kitchen, blowing out stale kitchen smells and which was so noisy it was like being in an aircraft hanger, even with the door closed. Not only that, but the smoking area for the pub was right outside our door. When we asked for a change of room, we were told this was not an option, as all the rooms had already been allocated. We were so unhappy, we searched for alternative accommodation and managed to find somewhere for the second night. We therefore requested a refund for 2nd night and was told they couldn’t do it. After my husband got angry with assistant manager, Paul, he suddenly changed his mind and said he could do so after all! ??? We went out to eat and arrived back at 10.30pm to be greeted with people smoking outside our door and had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to get in. We were then woken at 6am when the kitchen vent was fired up and was so loud, neither of us slept from them on. Breakfast was awful, we had to wait over half an hour and when it arrived it was wrong and virtually inedible, neither of us ate it but didn’t complain because we’d just had enough by then. We checked straight out and enjoyed a lovely evening in a great b&b down the road.”

“Brilliant place, lovely staff, very helpful. Lovely and clean, my dog loved the fuss, had his own doggy dinner. The only downside was the food, it was over priced for what it was and very greasy and that was just the pasta. We did tell them and they took 20per cent off the bill but, it put us off, we cancelled the next nights booking and went into town for fabulous fish and chips. We would stay again but not use the restaurant. Pets pyjamas were fab, will always use them when booking with our furr baby xx”

“Joey our family dog had the most wonderful time staying at this location. His room was so comfortable and spotless clean. All the Staff he met throughout his stay made home so welcome and could not do enough for him. The Inn itself with its cosy fire, Pet dinning areas & hospitality made his visit a wonderful experience with its Great food and service every on offer every visit. Joey would like to recommend this location to all friends of perspyjamas.com”
