I'm afraid this was the worst property I have stayed in with Pets Pyjamas and I have put in a formal complaint. The only positive was the very friendly staff. My room( room 5) was directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan hence I could not have the window open. The net curtain could not be opened as the path to the other rooms was directly outside the room. The room was therefore very dark , dismal and depressing. The positioning of the property ( bordering the A1) means that there is nowhere to walk your dog without driving away from the property . As I explained when I was booking that I was travelling by public transport this lack of walks was a big problem . Food was very expensive and very disappointing. Ham and eggs with chips ( approx £18) with a pease pudding and mustard sauce was very lack lustre. The ' sauce' tasteless and the consistency of water , chips a very strange colour and tasteless. A very watery poached egg for breakfast was the final straw. As a result I only had one evening meal at the inn and left after 2 nights rather than the 4 I had booked. The local transport system did not help- a two hourly service to Bamburgh which failed to turn up for the return journey! Not the hotels fault but something you need to be aware of it travelling on public transport. Yes I could and should have complained whilst I was there but the rooming situation could not have been improved and the food issues need long term instruction. I have used the ' Inn ' collection before and been very pleased but certainly not this one. I would suggest looking at Trip Advisor Bad and Poor reviews which outline similar problems to the ones I experienced Very overpriced accommodation and especially food.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Breakfast had limited choice. Staff were helpful and friendly apart from manager on Saturday evening who showed customer unfriendly behaviour

All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the word go. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. Very dog friendly and our 2 dogs were spoilt with treats and kindness. The room was clean and amble for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was very good indeed.

Super dog friendly venue, no issues with noise over night, room very quiet. Plenty of space for dogs in the restaurant (dog friendly room) and staff all dog lovers.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Superb staff, our dog has never had so much attention.
Lovely accommodation and all staff especially the manager were so welcoming and friendly. Rooms are good and we felt so relaxed with our dog. The inn collection menu, which seems standard across all their properties, is quite limited for vegans, especially if you are staying more than 1 night. Food is also a bit pricey.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? We are booking to go back for Christmas with my partners 2 adult daughters
Excellent accommodation, the motel style doors that open onto the outside, rather than having to go through an internal corridor and reception to walk your dog was brilliant. The Inn's is conveniently located literally just off the A1 and very handy for all the sights. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly, this was our first visit but we are definately going again!
