Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? no
Did you feel your stay was good value for money? no
There was a wedding on the day/night of our stay. This meant that there was nowhere to have food in the evening as the venue is not large enough for both weddings and hotel guests. The bar food was limited to pizzas only which we weren’t aware of when we checked in. Nowhere to sit due to the wedding so we had to get room service - for which we were charged! Bar manager was unfriendly. Hotel was shabby. Bedroom was a good size for us and our dog. Single bed duvet inside a double duvet cover for the double bed. Disappointing as our previous petspyjamas hotels have been good

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Just to say everywhere was clean and tidy and COVID standards were adhered to. Very good.
After reading some of the reviews on the hotel’s website, I was a little bit worried about what it was really going to be like! However, we thought the hotel was lovely, really spacious, beautiful grounds, the food was tasty and plentiful and served hot, our room was a good size plus my dog DaisyMae was really made a fuss of by all the staff and she had a sausage each morning from breakfast!! By the front door of the hotel was a large dog basket with a couple of blankets plus towels to use when it was raining and there were jars of doggy treats to help yourself to! Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Kenwood Hall and would definitely recommend it. On the reviews I read, some people complained that the decor needed updating and their shower didn’t work but our shower was lovely and hot and really powerful! You just can’t please some people!

Bracken and Belle took their owners on a three day break here and ended up staying for five! We were given lovely biscuit treats when we got there, and even had our own towels for when we got muddy (which as springer spaniels we did ). We were allowed in the bar area so we could be with mum and dad when they ate. The staff were lovely and we got loads of tummy rubs. Mum and Dad said they had a great time and the food was great and the rooms very comfort. When they asked for two extra nights it was no problem at all for the staff. We can't wait to come again!

Our first stay in a hotel with our dog. Lovely welcome. Room a great size for a big dog. Beautiful grounds which we would have enjoyed if the weather had been better. We thought our dinner and breakfast were very good for the price. Only slight difficulty was that we had to take our dog to eat with us and that meant we had to be in the bar. It would be hard to get a table if busy and the only tables free to us were coffee table height. Very difficult to eat at that height especially with an inquisitive nose! We did eventually get a higher table. If you can leave your dog in your room it would be fine. Thank you though to the staff for being so very friendly. Well that’s Sheffield for you!
