Did you and your dog receive a warm welcome? Yes
A truly magical weekend. A beautiful hotel and spa. The staff are all amazing and could not do enough. As for the food. The Mayflower restaurant is fabulous

It was great to be able to go somewhere that was very dog friendly and that had a spa. We were able to eat with the dogs in the bar area and leave the dogs in the room if we had wanted to eat in one of the restaurants (we only ate in the bar area). The hotel was beautiful and felt very luxurious.

A beautiful building, with amazing staff, myself my partner and Betty all felt very welcome, the doggy goody bag and bed waiting in the room were a lovely touch. Ply bridge woods is just a mile away which is like a fairy land to go walking in. Betty was so relaxed we were able to leave her to enjoy the spa which is a great addition.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? I mentioned about our sleepless night on such a hard bed. They were very apologetic and said we could have rung Reception who might have been able to provide a mattress topper.
Our one night stay was lovely up to a point. The room was great, the spa (as always) was great and so was our dinner. Unfortunately, though, our room had floor to ceiling windows which were looked over by the contractors onsite. Our privacy was totally compromised as we could see them right up by our window. The bed was extremely hard and very cold and neither of us got to sleep. We asked for turn-down service which didnt happen. It was not the total relaxation we have hoped for.

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Although the price was fantastic, we were taken aback when we received a parting gift that included treats for Obi-Wan
What a fantastic place to stay! Obi-Wan was treated so fantastically by all the staff. The doggy greeting box was perfect and Obi-Wan was so pleased to receive a tennis ball. Ever part of our stay was beautiful and the dog was included in all of it (he even got a sausage at breakfast time)

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? No treats for dogs, but we were able to eat with them for the evening meal.
We have just had a very pleasant evening and morning at Boringdon Hall just outside Plymouth. The Spa is the main thing here, and also the food was very good. However the room, we were in the stables ( a very large rooms with one double and two singles) were freezing cold as the heating was not working. It was a very cold evening, and there was two electric heaters in the room which took the chill off but on entry it was not welcoming. The heater in the bathroom was warm on arrival but this faded too. I do like a warm towel. However, as it was so cold we were wrapped up in bed and fast asleep early and hence in the spa and swimming pool very early so got the chance to enjoy the wonderful space there. Not brilliantly signposted- and spent a while wondering around lost at 7.15am finding where to go. Had a fabulous breakfast and got a second swim in. Wonderful building, and probably delightful in summer

Amazing and grand hotel who not only allow dogs but positively encourage them to be a part of hotel life. Lovely room with lots of doggie extras, we had breakfast and our evening meals in a room where we could bring the dogs, they even had a sausage for breakfast! The main things was the staff and the customer service and friendly manner they all had, nothing was too much!
