“Eating area was very limited, dog feeding bowls provided dirty, sanitary towel disposal bags as poo bags (not wide enough to pick poo) and if you did pick poo no bins anywhere to dispose of it had to cross a main road to find public bins to dispose.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Booked a good room with a deck. Allocated a room with artificial grass overlooking the road and directly opposite a house! Lovely room inside. Was this because of our 2 dogs? L

“I can't fault the spa, hotel or the great set up for dogs it is a very dog friendly hotel. However, we had random dogs running on our joint balcony making our dog feel anxious inside our room. They need to fully block off and seperate the balacony's in each room. We felt uncomfortable sitting outside knowing other dogs could run up to ours and owners weren't controlling or stopping them from running into other people's rooms. Towels in the room were dirty on arrival, we filled in the feedback email sent during our stay and this was not resolved we had to ask housekeeping ourselves. We received a very lame email back after we had checked out. When ordering room service we made it very clear on one order about dairy intolerances and the dessert came with ice cream all over it despite us asking for sorbet - we were also charged £17 for the luxury of having a scoop of sorbet instead of ice cream which I am unable to eat. They did not care about allergies, intolerances or you during your stay. We weren't shown where anything is in the hotel or where to go for breakfast etc. I heard many guests in the spa say the same. When there are problems they didn't resolve them and left you feeling like the staff didn't care or want to be there. Don't get me wrong, the hotel and spa are lovely but the staff need better training and problems need to be deault with properly.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Dogs were not allowed in the brassiere bar to eat or for breakfast so this felt a little segregated from the rest of the hotel and there were no carpets to worry about so not sure why this was? Overall we were very well looked after and will definitely be back and spread the word to other friends with dogs.

“The hotel was very welcoming and the room was very lovely with a dog bed, towel, bowls and treats for our little dog. She was on the comfortable dog bed streight away! The whole hotel was dog friendly including staff and everyone made time to say hello and stroke dogs who were there. The rooms with outside courtyard were ideal for little paws and they were also happy in the hotel if our dog stayed in the room while we went for a swim and sauna. Most relaxing stay and made better by taking our small pooch.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Disappointed to say the least, not sure I'll book through Pets Pyjamas again.

“Paid for a deluxe king sized room, but there was nothing king size about it! You couldn't swing a cat, let alone a dog in it. Great views of a giant apartment block which is blocking the sea views!! Didn't really think the room was that dog friendly either. I was hoping or should I say expecting a ground floor room with access to outdoor space to exercise and toilet my puppy. No, it was a first floor room with a deck area with a bit of astro turf. Not really somewhere my pup wanted to toilet. To top it off, parking is ridiculous! They've clearly not got enough parking due to filling the outdoor space with this giant seaview blocking apartment block. We had to pay to park in the council owned car park at the bottom of the hill, and lug all our luggage up the hill. Hardly a great start to our romantic break!! We didn't stay, we left within 10 mins of checking in. Went home. We were told if we wanted a refund, then because we booked through a 3rd party we would have to take it up with them!! Really disappointed to be honest. I won't be checking in again.”
