“This is a lovely Inn right on the seafront. Our room had a view of the sea. We were welcomed quickly and efficiently. The Inn has a bar and restaurant, so it was to get a table for an evening meal. Breakfast was included and they were ready with a dog sausage for our dog. The rooms were quiet enough so our dog wasn’t disturbed. The beach had a dog friendly section which wad within walking distant and that part of the beach allowed a long walk in the morning. Overall really pleased with the Inn, staff were excellent and friendly.”

“We paid extra for a sea view and very much enjoyed the views and hearing the waves crashing in at night. Very dog friendly, most guests had dogs and they were offered sausages at breakfast. Great breakfast for humans too! Dinner in the restaurant was a real disappointment, and be ready for long queues at the bar and very busy and noisy outdoor seating area in nice weather. note that beach right in front is not dog friendly May-Sept”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Suggest Pets Pyjamas have a serious look at this accommodation .

“Won't stay here again,unfriendly,and room had dog wee stains on side of bed and carpet .No allowance for early breakfast ,so we had to go without on departure morning.Super de luxe room was NOT worthy of the £224 for one night.Weekend ruined totally ,no welcome doggy bag either and no info in room about anything.”

“We loved the location, so close to the beach, the food was excellent and they were very careful with my wife's food (Gluten Intolerant). The staff were great and always accommodated our greyhound in the restaurant (we did bring her bed to contain her!). They only negative was the warmth of the bedrooms, which were very warm. We had windows open and a fan going overnight and it was still very toasty in the room. We would be back, highly recommended”

“The Ship Inn at Norfolk ticks every box, and I mean, every box. From a doggy perspective, the girls had a great time. They were given a gift bag on arrival, containing treats, a ball and poop bags. They joined us in the restaurant and were given a cooked cold sausage each for breakfast. The hotel has an excellent garden for quick toilet visits (for the pups, not the humans!), and being right on the beach, they had a whale of a time on the Norfolk sands. From a human POV, the staff was incredible - super friendly, kind and helpful. The food was top-notch - best-cooked English breakfast, amazing ribs and fish dishes, outstanding whitebait. Lots of other dogs and their owners stayed at the Ship Inn, and it was nice chatting with them. Will we visit again - you bet your life we will! We love Norfolk and traveling with the pooches, and The Ship Inn was simply perfect.”
