Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Would recommend taking a torch for taking dogs out for a pee at night as it was very dark

“I found the hotel very warm and friendly. I took my two labs and stayed for a couple of nights. As this was the first time I had tried this alone, I was a bit apprehensive but needn’t have been. Hotel is right by the beach so perfect for those long dog walks. The food was lovely and my dogs enjoyed the sausages at breakfast.”

“The Ship is ideally located right next to the sea a short walk down a slope and you are on the beach From our arrival to our departure we were treated wonderfully (we received room up-grade one with a sea view) our dogs were made welcome (receiving a sausage each at breakfast) the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed although we had not booked a dinner and despite being very busy they found us a table and we enjoyed a wonderful meal which was also very well priced”

“Good value and great location with amazing views and huge beer garden. Loved the beach walks with our frenchie off the lead. Didn’t have the warmest welcome but overall staff were pleasant. Food was good but room facilities could be better (no conditioner, coffee machine or mini fridge). Had a nice afternoon in the bar and met some other holidaymakers.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? In the bathroom the complimentary toileteries should be plastic free (or none). For dinner we sat in a cantina like too bright room with all the other owners and their doggies. It felt a bit coralled in and not very inviting for a romantic dinner.

“We spent 1 night at the Ship Inn with our Airedale Terrier. I booked a seaview larger room and we were overwhelmed how beautiful the room and particularly the bathroom was. The room was very comfortable for us and the dog and the view was stunning. Plenty of hot water for the state-of-the-art bath and kettle and hot drinks readily available. I noted the water bottles from glass and the beautiful tumblers, also glass. All very comfortable and luxurious. The staff were very doggy friendly and made an effort to say hello to our pooch. The doggy sausage offered at breakfast was a nice touch. Thank you.”

Would you like to add any more feedback about your stay? Food service was a little slow but good choice and cooked very well . Dogs treated to a sausage each at breakfast.

“Historical looking pub overlooking the sea. A lot of work going on at the beach with large boulders being placed at certain parts but still enough space for the dogs to run and explore as they are allowed on there October-May.”
