The Manor House hotel is very comfortable and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was always offered a bowl of water whenever we arrived for a meal or a drink . He even got a breakfast sausage. Our room was ideal as we could walk straight out side on to their plentiful grounds . Inside we had plenty of space and appreciated the dog bed, towel bowls and treats. We enjoyed the food at the hotel and its sister inn and liked the fact there were restaurants where our dog could join us. All in all a great place to stay with or without a dog

it was absolutely fabulous in every respect, BUT it would have been nice if after a very long drive in foul conditions if the hotel was expecting us. Really very tired we had to wait for 15-20 minutes for the room could be found and prepared which was a great shame. From then on it was superb, the staff were very helpful and, in spite of the flooding, the walks were great.

The Manor House hotel grounds are beautiful. The addition of it being located within Castle Coombe, such a picturesque area, is a bonus. We were staying in a traditional room as I requested a room with direct access to the outside (to allow for easy night time toilet breaks with our 7 month old puppy!) I was a bit disappointed with our particular room as I felt it was a bit dark, overlooked, and the outside access was a door via the bathroom which led to the bottom of an outside stairwell. Our puppy was more comfortable going to the toilet up the stairs, which led to a grassy area however it was essentially another room's garden space so I didn't feel hugely comfortable with the set up. The staff helped with our request (made ahead of time) to have a refrigerator in our room to keep Benji's raw food. The kitchen also helped by keeping a couple of boxes of raw food in their freezer for us whilst we were there which we appreciated. Other positives included the huge bathroom; complete with two bathtubs, a tv inside the wall (if watching TV whilst in the bath is your thing) and a big spa shower. For dinner, we booked the Castle Inn pub as it was dog friendly and a 2 min walk from our room. There was a mix up with my husband's food order but as a nice gesture they waived the price of his meal and the food was really good. For breakfast, we were seated in the lounge area of the main house (so we could take our puppy with us). The cooked breakfast was lovely, however, as we were out of sight in a different room we were forgotten about and I had to ask if someone could take our breakfast order after 20 minutes. Overall, I would come back here but choose to stay in a different room.

This is a beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings, our puppy was made such a fuss of I don't think she wanted to leave. This was the first time we've used Pets Pyjamas and won't be the last, Maria was so effiecient and freindly, nothing was too much trouble for her.

The Manor House Hotel lived up to all of our expectations. Fantastic location, very helpful staff, superb food. Highly recommended. Barney our border collie loved the grounds and walks let alone the attention from the staff.

Beautiful hotel, brilliant staff, amazing restaurant. But dog rooms are in the mews, which we found a little dingey; not great natural light, made A LOT worse by needing to keep curtains forever closed, as the rooms are on ground level, with no net curtains / anything to stop every man and his dog seeing into our room.
